Six Gun

Let me start off by saying that this is my first thread here at FoG. Some things may not be up to par due to my lack of experience with formats and set ups. I hope that this story interests people. I would also like to point out that I work about six days a week. Not to say that I will not be active, but sometimes I may miss a day of role playing to catch up on sleep. I look forward to getting to know everyone.

I’m interested in getting a western theme post started entitled “Six Gun”. Story to take place during the gold rush in Montana. Civil war has already taken place. The west is becoming more developed. Native American tribes are on killing sprees in the area due to the development of their land by the “white man”. Post will take place in or around the small settlement of “Meadow Brook”. Join in as you please. Take part in the story line as a gunslinger in town, brothel owner, bar tender, gold miner, farm hand, native American, etc.

I’m not going to set any strict rules to this post so long as the regular forum guidelines are followed. Anyone who wishes to get involved in this story can do so. Just post in the Six Gun ooc thread to let me know that you are going to start posting. Post your character sheets in that thread as well . Characters need to be set up as follows.

Background: (You’re background doesn’t have to be highly developed, just give us an idea of who your character is.)

Yeah, even one or two more people would make this pretty epic if its told right. Working on my next part to the story. Like how yours is playing out Ryona.

Still taking players? I might be a while filling out a profile because of school, but I'm a sucker for Westerns and would love to join!

Also I wouldn't mind your being slow because I'll probably be pretty slow, too, as junior year is absolutely kicking my butt. xD

Sooo, this didn't really take off due to some disappearances, but I am still very interested in this RP and would really love to see it go somewhere.

Would anyone be interested in helping me retry it? Or perhaps even a different RP entirely, but with a very similar idea?

I don't mind helping you revive it, as long as I am not considered creator. Emoria is enough for me right now in terms of leading RPs. However if you are creator I will gladly recycle my characters to be a part of the revision!

Haha, that's totally cool, you wouldn't be considered a creator. Mainly I'm just seeing if there are enough people who wanna do this (and who will do this) or if a revival would just make me sad.

Hey i was interested from the first time i saw the thread, and still am

was wondering whatever happened to this one. I just figured it was one of the many which had the potential, but never lifted off the ground.

The creator mysteriously disappeared, so it died along with him..

Which is depressing, 'cause he seemed like a cool dude.
