Post yo' Picture!

Kathryn, you don't think I already planned for all that! A) We can meet half way! B) I'll rent a place out, build a prom setting equipped with DJ, make fliers which read something like this "MISS YOUR PROM? HERE'S A SECOND CHANCE! ONLY $20!" and I'll pass them around. It would sale like crazy, I would easily make my money back and turn a profit! C) He can come! He'll be our driver!

Pft. You don’t need a lot of money to make yourself elegantly beautiful for a day. A decent amount of that comes from the inside anyway. By that, I mean the way you carry yourself. Not meaning in that old cheesy ‘inner beauty’ fashion but in the way of how you feel about yourself, confidence and all that. I saw pictures of a few girls that spent a lot less money at prom and looked far better than others.

My opinion, elegant beauty is obtained through the grace (and other things) of the person. Someone can put a lot of money into the way they look and still fall terribly short of elegant beauty.

Besides, there may yet come a day when you can do such a thing. And perhaps with Jon as well, right? Wouldn’t even have to be a special occasion or anything, just a day that the two of you set aside so you can have that moment you regret not having prior. I’d like to think that he would support you in something like that too.

Ryona, way to go! I wore the gown my mother bought for her prom. It kept falling from my shoulders, and got very annoying, but my pocketbook wasn't empty.

Oh! The picture with 'game faces' was adorable. It made me want to go through my memory chest, to find pictures of my brothers and I playing video games. Your little sister looks... bored though. : (

Well, perhaps that would work... except... If Jonathan was going to be there, I would totally have to ditch you for him. It's nothing personal. It's just that he's my boyfriend, and he was the third wheel at his prom, and I don't want to have to put him into that position again.

I wasn't meaning like... thousands of dollars. I meant like... a couple hundred at most, including the apparel and the hair and make-up. I seriously have... zero skills with hair or make-up, and none of my close friends do, either, so I figured I should probably get them professionally done. I wouldn't want to do my usual swipe-on-some-eyeliner-and-tie-hair-in-a-ponytail-'cause-this-is-all-I-know-how-to-do crappiness because it just wouldn't be as much fun. It would be like... graduation... where the only thing I did that was special was wear a pretty dress. Graduation sucked...

Also, considering I don't really know how to dance, it would be kind of... odd... and weird feeling to get all dressed up just to hang out in his living room or something. I'm sure he would support me if I really wanted to do it, but I think I'll just wait for my friend's wedding in April to get all dolled up and not complain that I haven't had the opportunity to do so for a decade and a half. heheh

Plus, I have Halloween in which I will try to make myself lovely because I'm going to be an elf. The dress is also amazing in that it- unlike the vast majority of dresses- doesn't make me look like I'm a few months pregnant. It's very slimming. The entire thing is rather elegent and lovely, so hopefully I'll be able to pull off the entire look.

Yes, Kalon. I figured out why you look so familiar to me. There's an actor in some movies I've seen that looks quite similar to you. I just can't remember his name or what those movies are. I just remember him wearing a suit in one of them... This is going to drive me insane until I can remember...

Pushing people into a pool is fun... especially when the month is January and one of those people is holding the other upside down... the only downside is the person holding the camera nearly dropped it and didn't get a good angle on film...

Ah, the stupid things we do because someone else says it’d be funny. The wonderful memories those make.

I was just looking at those pictures and both of our expressions are so goofy. We were waiting to get our pictures taken. There were like 10 of us all together. I wish I could post more pictures, but the rest are all actual pictures.

Prom was definitely...eventful though.

Edit: Oh and I feel, on note of the dress, that I should inform you that it was duck tapped to me. Yeah...it wouldn't stay up cause I had like no boobs, so we duck tapped it to my skin. Very...very...very painful to remove.

Back in Texas I do! We moved two months ago and we've yet to have our stuff moved. I'm about as sick as can get of this stupid blow up mattress.

Sighlent, I really love that dress. It looks wonderful on you. It's too bad you had to go through the pain of duct tape in order to keep it secure, but it's a good thing you had the foresight to do something like that. If it's any consolation, I don't think anyone below a C cup is really able to wear strapless clothing without difficulties. I avoid strapless tops like the plague...

I actually have a friend that looks more like Justin Bartha than he does! He's a total dork as well always cracking jokes and such. I would post a picture of him but that might be weird.

Nice. I like that wig on you! You're lucky because it seems you look good with more than one hair colour. I only look good with the platinum blond I have naturally. I don't even look good with the dark blond/light brown colour that matches my eyebrows. It's weird.

I'm the same too Kathryn, well, I don't naturally have platinum blond hair (it's more of a dirty blonde now) but platinum blond definitely suits me compared to other colours I've tried. Although I've never been game enough to go all black.

Sighlent you're very pretty, I'm loving your eyes. And Fate, you remind me of someone but I can't put my finger on it just yet. You do kinda look like you're missing an arm now that Gunneh mentions it.

And thanks guys, I very rarely take pictures of myself because one - it makes me feel vain, and two - they never look very good. So those two I'm fairly proud of! (Although the one with my friend was a professional photo anyway, haha) I will admit that I'm with you Kathryn, I like my lips too. They're always a nice pinky colour.

We have so many beautiful people here on FOG, and so many different types of beauty as well. It's very cool.

OK so I have been here a while and figured it was about time I posted a picture. Here are some from my trip to Ireland last summer. The pics are about a year old and my hair is much longer but since I don't have a current pic it's better than nothing.


Here I am in front of Newgrange. The monument is where I am facing in this picture. It turned out good considering it was kind of raining that day.


Here I am on a tiny island just off the coast of Ireland. By just off the coast I mean it was connected by a suspension walk bridge. You can see Scotland in the background across the lake/ocean.


The castle in the background is built into a cliff overlooking the ocean. It was a good few hundred feet up.


This is a picture of on of the neolithic carvings on the side of Newgrange. Again it turned out better than I thought with the weather.
