New homepage image & color updates

Thanks to a bit of some helpful advice, I decided to add our information to the front homepage, so that when people first come to FOG, they know immediately what we are. I also worked on changing the background image to a better one (I think/hope).

I'm also working on the colors a bit. Bare with me if you see crazy changes happening, lol. I can take down FOG for everyone except us Admins while I'm doing maintenance, but I'd rather just leave it up.

The text is less harsh on the eyes now, I think, since it's not a bright white and seems to go better with the darker background.

I noticed the color changes immediately when I signed on this morning, but at first I thought I was just seeing things. Haha. I like it, Fate. And I like the new homepage, too!

Not so that it can be abused or anything, but because I'd rather post a slightly lighter tone than gray.
I honestly just need more contrast in colors, gray on gray is...somewhat headache inducing.

Another reason I didn't want the text to be much lighter is because otherwise it was way too hard to distinguish between the links and the regular text. The links just got lost in the text. (I'm hoping onenitedrive can figure out a way to make all links be bold.)
I'm not sure I can put custom colors into our color choices (but that would be amazing!), so I'll ask onenitedrive tonight. (Thank goodness we have him for these things lol.) If not though, you can always just enter it in yourself. Just type:
And then put the color code after the #. (If you don't have Photoshop or something similar, here's a site that lists a lot of color codes: http://www.december.com/html/spec/color.html)

Similarly, this has been my 'secret stash' of colors ever since I got my laptop. :3 I love this page.
The gray text doesn't bother me, luckily, since I prefer using the colors for dialogue. So viva la non revolucion!

Sounds like he'll need to alter the CSS code again. It always annoyed me that the link colors for forumotion were the same color as the board index links. That made it difficult to choose just the right colors for both theme and posts.
But yeah, if this forum is set to phpBB2 then he should be able to easily edit it, if its BB3, then I'm not quite sure how he'll do that.
Right now you two have this so disguised that I can't quite tell what version it is...

We have phpBB3, so it sounds like it may not be possible? He'll still look into it though.
