Re: New homepage image & color updates
UPDATE: Okay, I changed the main font color and the link color again, but to a color that was as close as possible to how it was (when I changed it from what it was originally). I changed them to web-safe colors, meaning that they should look the way they are supposed to look, no matter what browser you are using. The gray is also slightly lighter, I believe, than what it was too, for those of you that wanted the contrast upped more. I had a choice between this gray and a gray that was far too dark, even for me.

Yeah. Well, like I said, I have no problem with the fonts and I like that they are more easily identified now. As I previously stated, it was just a suggestion, and I love this site with all of my cyber-heart. <3
Good job Fate and onenitedrive. You two are amazing at what you do.

Aw, okay, thanks, Eternity.
Onenitedrive made the box bigger now when you go to reply to a topic (or start a new one). That was something that always bothered me, that there was this weird space under the box where you type. Now, it goes down to the line, where it should.

onenitedrive wrote:ACK! wrote:So I'm still trying to understand how Forumotion works... But if that's the case--have you tried to download phpBB3 and taking the ProSilver CSS file? I'm pretty sure this is just a ProSilver based style... So they may have the same CSS tags. It might not hurt too much to try looking into.
Hey, ACK. Basically how it works is, I can figure out what the tags are for the DIVS, but I can't directly edit the code. In the control panel there is a box where I can add code which overwrites the original code. It can be a huge pain sometimes, but I learned about this web developer add-on for Firefox that helps me so much with identifying tags. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60
side note: I made the links in posts boldI'm pretty sure I can't add custom colors to the button though.
WOAH!
THIS IS THE COOLEST. THANK YOU. :DD
Re: New homepage image & color updates
From what I've heard from Tony/onenitedrive, that add-on for Firefox is brilliant for you web designers.
Onenitedrive just fixed the quote color for multiquotes. If you noticed, if you quote 2 or more posts, the original quote was a bright white with a light gray font. It really stood out amongst the rest of the forum, so he made it nicer. *points to ACK's post above hers*

Oh yay! The quote thing is fixed! xD
And the font does seem a bit lighter, so that's cool. Good enough, I'd say. And it seems to be on the blue side, I think, which is another plus!
