As you've probably been noticing, things in your mini profiles (the profiles you see next to your posts) have been changing. Onenitedrive is working on some things with it. If you notice anything weird suddenly (such as giant text), don't freak out. Lol.

Here's what we've changed so far:

There's a darker background behind your mini profile.
The Online banner now sits on top of your mini profile (so as not to be hidden by the dark background).
Your usernames are larger.
Your profile information is centered.

What's changed so far in your mini profiles is...

I noticed the improvements as I sat here typing and reading.

I can see it's the work of a ~~very obsessive-compulsive perfectionist~~ very dedicated person.

Well... I do hope that you change the stretchy buttons found beneath the Caligo Character sheet part... but beyond that it's all good.

Ah, the big buttons were the result of onenitedrive working on something (just as the large text was). Don't worry - that wasn't permanent lol. Like I said, if you see anything weird like that, just ignore it.

Onenitedrive now rounded the corners of the darker background behind your mini profiles. However, it does not appear rounded on Internet Explorer, because Microsoft does not support CSS 3 yet.

I think you had it right the first time.

I give up on rounding the corners for all browsers. Internet Explorer doesn't support CSS3 and I don't have enough control over the code to use images or javascript to round them. I'm done messing with stuff... for now Smile

Also -- this doesn't have to do with your mini profiles, but I didn't want to create a whole new thread for it -- as you can tell...YOUR POSTS ARE MORE IMPORTANT TOO NOW. Shocked

Onenitedrive made them into their own special boxes. What do you think?

I like the new border around the messages. Plus, have there always been rounded corners around the profiles? Haha. Maybe I only noticed because everything is centered now. XD

I like the centering. Seems to draw a little too much attention, but it looks good for the title and Caligo sections. Smile

He's just been sitting and playing around with all the powers ( Muhaha

) he has, asking me randomly, "Does this look cool?" Laughing

("Oh, yeah, that is cool, Tony!" "Is it? *laughs*" "Do you even know what you're doing?" "I'm just messing around! Is it cool?" LOL)

So, I really like how the mini profiles look now. I hadn't been paying attention to this topic (or the site at all past the main forum page today, actually...) so I had no idea what had happened at first. XD

However, the box around each of our posts irks me to no end. If everyone else likes it then whatever, I'm sure I'll... get used to it after a while. But it feels completely unnecessary to me, and it makes me think that someone's quoting text, so I skip over it and get all messed up.

Yeah, I think the textboxing is abit much, but the way the profiles look at the moment, it seems so professional- I like it Very Happy

I think its a nice touch. A little boxy maybe. Perhaps put a fade on it like what was applied to the outside of the index categories.

I actually like the boxes around each of the posts. Makes it easier to skip from post to post without being lured away by signatures. The difference between the post boxes and the quote boxes are pretty much beyond need of comparison, so it's just something that you might have to adjust to. Shouldn't take long for that.

So yeah, I like the new features so far. Forum is shaping up to look pretty professional-like. Just get us some pretty little dress-up avatars and a mini-MMO, then add in an auction system and start making us pay for credits to bu--ehrr, wait, that's starting to sound familiar...

I am quite pleased with the changes. At first I was like, "Whoa... Do I like this?" when I saw the boxes around our posts, but after greeting several newcomers who have been here for a week or less ((I've been slacking)), I've decided I really do like it. ^^_^^

I think it adds a little oomph to the forum itself to give it a clean and interesting appeal.
