Oh purdy

I'm now wondering whether corpse bride (with cable noose around neck still) was a good idea ... especially since I'll only be handing candy out to kiddies ... heh >.>

Having a blast, got scary movies playing on projector out front, spiderwebs galore and lots of kids in scary costumes running about scaring one another...Taeo is having fun, as is his cousin who came over to visit...it's mid party right now, so no pics yet...will post more detail (and pics) tomorrow!

Here's a teaser of my costume. I have a sign because I'm entering a contest. This is just my hair and make-up ((including the tip of an ear)), and they were both better than I'd ever made them before last night. I'll post full costume pictures later- even though the hair and make-up aren't nearly as awesome in those ones.

We had a projector playing movies outside, and basically it was a giant kid friendly party with trick or treaters coming and going. It was a lot of fun and dressing up was too! We were voted best house of the neighborhood by most of the kids, but there wasn't much competition...no one is into it anymore -sigh-

I love that first picture of you two, Ryona. I'm just sad it's blurry... Perhaps that just... kind of... adds to the charm?

You two had great costumes. I adore your shoes, too. They're amazing.

I think my da blurred it on purpose, that isn't what the original looks like. I will probably post more when I get copies of all the pics and am able to do my own edits

The shoes were the greatest find...I got them for my birthday, and they are the ONLY stilettos that I have ever successfully worn an entire day and survived...

Poor taeo. No pics showing the struggle of tryin to get that costume ON him. Will definitely look for a looser costume next year!

Okay! It’s time for my costume to be completely revealed. Some of the pictures aren’t very good because my friend is fairly clumsy with a camera, but they’re all right. I’m really super proud of my costume, and I received a ton of compliments on it. It made me feel really good about myself.

I’m certainly not as slender as an elf, but my gown had moments when it could be flattering ((especially when I sucked my gut into itself)). Hahahah

A Sign for a Contest; Slightly Blurry

So beautiful! I love "Full Costume" and "Windblown"! Great costume. I could never pull off an elf on halloween, I always need to be something dark and scary/gory. LOL ^_^

As a Renaissance re-enactor, the wench outfit is kind of a great stand-by

I like being dark and scary things, too, but lately I haven't been doing that. My scariest costumes were Magenta from The Rocky Horror Picture Show when I was fifteen and a fallen angel ((not very scary, just very black)) when I was sixteen. Next year, I want to be Yue from Avatar: The Last Airbender, so that won't be very scary, either.

Digital, I don't know in which thread, but I've seen those costumes you wore in the past, and I like them a lot. They're all really neat. ^^_^^

Kathryn you're soooo beautiful! It's like you really popped right out of Middle Earth and for that I'm truly jealous. I didn't get to do any special pictures with my costume as we didn't do anything but give out candy for Halloween. We did walk around Walmart for a bit but only because we were out of sodas and wanted some Sonic lol. Here's some more though:

I really like your dress a lot better now that I'm seeing it on you. I wasn't completely sure about what to think of it when it was just on the hanger, but it is really cute on you. You have a great figure for it, too. Your hair was amazing for that, too.

Loki, you and your women! Your group looked really spiffy for Halloween. The one who did the Cheshire Cat did a great job. I never would have thought of painting the grin like that. It was a great idea.

The group right before we headed out into the night that lasted well into early morning. I'm the blonde boob towering over the Turtles, Wario, and Mr. Jackson. All that's missing is my Alice Cooper wig, but I ended up ditching that damn mess of a thing even before we left.

True and true.
If we'd lived closer to each other, and I'd got to you before Jonathan did... I think we would have really hit it off. Makes me wonder about the soul mates concept. I think it could be true, at least partially, but there are a lot of people in the world. I like to think there might be a few options. And I think you can learn to love almost anyone if they're a good person.

Anyway, Kathryn's definitely influencing my pursuit of The One. Or A One, however the case may be. They say if you know what you want, you're more likely to find it. So if I had to say "I want a girl a lot like....:" and then list some names, Kathryn would definitely be on the list.

It's possible. Everybody has problems and shortcomings. Maybe ours would conflict and hinder; maybe not. As you say, you can't really know someone unless you spend time with them in person.

Still, you're intelligent and sweet. Those are top qualities on my list. Plus you're romantic, artistic, you write a lot, and you correct people's grammar!
With your looks and your love of fantasy on top of all that, I'd say the odds aren't entirely unfavorable.

They do say, though, that people who have tons of things in common with you are often better as friends than as lovers. *shrug* I imagine it's all very case-by-case. Whatever hypothetical or viable possibilities exist, we'll just have to stick with being good friends anyway.

Totally! On all points Kalon. Having been 'round the block a few times, opposites often work for one reason while those with lots in common wotk for a totally different reason. It depends on the underlying personalities involved.

I have a lot of shortcomings, and I really thing I would destroy a part of you if I ever became close to you. I'm really not that sweet. I'm quite a bitch, actually. I'm even worse to those about whom I care the most. It's irritating to me and destructive to them.

I'm also not much of a romantic. I like things that are romantic, but I don't have a true sense of romance myself. Jonathan is a lot more romantic than I'll ever be.

My love of fantasy isn't really as extensive as you make it sound, either. ^^_^^;; Sure, I love The Lord of the Rings, but that's about as far as intense fantasy goes for me. I've never read Terry Pratchett or any of that... I do like some fantasy based movies, but my tastes are so broad that I've really only touched the surface of a lot of genres.

I don't think it's bad to have things in common with a person. I just know that I could never be with someone who is like me personality-wise. I hardly get along with myself let alone someone who is too much like me. XD


Aww. Thank you, Muse. I will only agree to the point of being attractive. Make-up did all of the work. Seriously. Of course, I'm going to have to start doing my make-up like that all the time now that I know how well it suits me, but yeah... Gotta wait for the eczema to clear up, first. Make-up hurts my skin if I wear it too often, even if I wash it off before bed. =\
