It's not that old really. You gotta think, it's the year 2009 right now. That just means Lucian was born a thousand years before Christ, and by that time the world was already fairly developed. That puts Lucian at being born in the early medieval days I believe... Unless I have my dates wrong...

Eternity doesn't count anything higher than her fingers, because God made numbers to strike Eternity, into Eternal Confusion.
Thus, I don't know exactly when medieval is.
I don't know when Christ was born (but I know that I gots me a bible and he's somewhere in there XD)
And I don't know what the square root of pie is if I can't cut it into four pieces and eat it.

BC means Before Christ. In BC years, the higher the number the further back it was.

Think of Crist being born as the 0 on a number line. BC is the negative numbers before Christ and AD are the positives after his death.

Don't ask me what they called the 30 some odd years when christ was alive, I think the Earth just stood still....

Basically, 1,000,000 BC = Dinosaurs

2009 AD = NOW!
