New Movie Trailer Drops!

Have you seen any kickass trailers for any new movies that look promising? Drop them here!

Here's a few I've seen that I think look pretty good.


Ninja Assassin- It looks pretty good. Apparently some of the guys who worked on 300 helped with this, or something. (correct me if I'm wrong.)


Daybreakers- Looks like a pretty good Vampire movie. Has a pretty good cast.

Wow. Of the three, I'm definitely looking forward to The Road. Not much into vampire movies, but Daybreakers does look like it might be pretty interesting. As for Ninja Assassin....I don't know. Not much into spinny, flying assassin ninja's....

Any movie about the end of the world is worth watching, in my opinion (I seriously can't wait to go see 9 tomorrow). But I have to say I was disappointed in the new 2012 preview. The first was awesome, and I thought it might actually be a more artistic movie, like The Road. But no...its just another disaster movie competing for the best graphics and worst characters.

No doubt 9 will be amazing. I wasn't all that impressed with the first trailer for 2012, so the new trailer was whatever.

The Wolfman- I'm pretty excited about this. I love the old rendition of the Werewolf! Looks promising for sure.


Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant- I guess there may be a trend here I like Vampires. This movie looks like it may be funny while still being a pretty good Vampire movie! There's a book too, or so I heard.


YOUTH IN REVOLT- This looks pretty funny. I've liked everything Michael Cera's been in so far, and this doesn't look like it'll disappoint.

Solomon Kane- First fantasy movie since Lord of the Rings to look promising.


The Fourth Kind- This one is for Fate! I know how she likes aliens. Plus this looks really creepy!

The Wolfman looks good. Not usually my type of movie, but this one does look really good.

Solomon Kane looks awesome as well.

I'm not sure about The Fourth Kind, as I'm not into that alien conspiracy crap, but it does look kind of interesting...so far. We'll have to see.

I might be the only one but I (yes the movie buff) did not know about this movie. And my god I don't know why. It looks like blast. Is it gonna be revolutionary like D 9? I doubt it but it looks like a lot of fun and if it is revolutionary well that's icing on the cake.

I don't know if Willis' fake hair will allow me to enjoy that movie as much as I'd like to. I'll definitely be anticipating the non-surrogate version of him!

The trailer made me cry. (Not just because it was my favorite movie as a kid.) Spike Jones directed it, I have huge hopes for it. I think it's going to be fabulous. Oh. The Fourth Kind looks really interesting. o3o

I will be going, for sure. I had to find the song in the preview, because it is amazing. It's Wake Up by Arcade fire, if you are interested.

I hope that the theatre has a baby matinee showing so I can take my son.

You have no idea how bad I'm wanting to see this movie! Almost more than I wanted to see 9. I love the song they chose for the trailer as well.

I wasn't all that disappointed in it. I mean, I can't say I wasn't disappointed, because I was. But I still enjoyed the movie. It just wasn't anything like I expected it to be. I wanted to see the 9 of them together, interacting. Not separated, never completely together, and constantly dying off.

Of course there was, but it lasted like 10 seconds. And, obviously, we all knew it wouldn't last, because that would have made for a very short movie Reminded me of a World War II movie though, like Saving Private Ryan, where they celebrate by listening to old music and then hear tanks approaching and bombs dropping, and realize its not over yet. That part was well done, in a way.

My wife really wants to see Alice In Wonderland, but I will let her put her two cents in there

As for Avatar, I have high hopes for that movie. It looks good, but then again so did 9. From what I've see of it, I don't think I will be disappointed. (You are talking about the sci-fi movie, right?)

I have a few comments for multiple posts here so let's just jump right in:
Cirque du Freak- I read those books and I still haven't watched the trailer (probably will in a few minutes). The books were aimed for a younger audience but because it was a series, I kept going back and reading more. I have yet to read the final book though. Nonetheless, I did enjoy them to a point.

9- I'd love to see this movie. I really want to watch the short film it's based on though. I hear that the short film was good but I haven't heard too much on the actual movie.

Where the Wild Things Are- Of course I want to see this too. I hope it's amazing. I loved the book and the trailer was beautiful.

Alice in Wonderland- I'm not too excited for this film but I am curious about it. It looks pretty crazy and a little creepy, which I always enjoy, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. I didn't like the animated version (although I haven't seen it since I was a kid) and I never read the book.

Surrogates- I'd like to wait and hear positive things about it before I go out and see it. Then again, I'm thinking of renting that one day.

9- Was cool, but I was hoping for more out of it then what I got. ::Shrugs:: I still liked it for the most part.

Where the Wild Things Are- I loved the childrens book, but honestly I'm not sure I'm going to like the movie. It looks like it'll be a great work of art, but I can't figure out why I'm unsure about it.

Alice in Wonderland- NOT SOLD ON IT!

Surrogates- Is going to be good, if not great!

Avatar- Looks really good too! Looks like it might end up being sad, though. I get that feeling.

500 Days of Summer- I saw like half of that movie. It was good from what I saw. I'm madly in love with Zooey Deschanel!

How about Jennifer's Body? Anyone see that? Clearly it looks lame, but for one obvious reason I'm interested in seeing it. Megan Fox!

Are you saying that the new movie is going to be Disney, or is this a comment on the old cartoon version? I don't know anything about the new one coming out, which is why I ask. And many people hear that name and instantly think 'Disney". Truth about the story though is that the original story was dark. Nothing like what Disney made it to be in the cartoon film. There an old PC Game based on the story that did a decent job at portraying what it was like.

In general though, I'm not looking forward to seeing any new movies coming out. For several years now I've been shaking my head at new movie releases. In my opinion, cinema is just stuck in a cesspool at the moment. At least the popular material.

The new one is Disney. The original story seems more nonsense than dark to me...Unless the original story is not Lewis Carroll (I admit I am not well versed in all things Wonderland).

I am excited for Alice in Wonderland not because of the story, but because of the director. I am a huge Tim Burton fan, as well as Depp & Carter & Elfman (score). I will always go see a Tim Burton film, regardless of what it is about. I admit I have not liked all his films, and was a bit disappointed with 9, but when I decide I like someone, I never give up on them

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. Honestly I've never read the original, but from what people who have tell me it was at least somewhat dark and nothing at all like what the old cartoon made it out to be. I did play a demo of the game though, which was interesting.
