My girlfriend took this with her phone several months ago. It was a really weird view. Looking back at it now, it looks like the ocean swapped places with the sky that morning.

Wow, it does look like an ocean! so awesome!

Does this count as scenery? It is the most awesome fan I have ever seen in the history of fan viewing. The dual headed fan causes a natural rotation that is just mesmerizing to watch!

Holy crap! For a second, I thought your picture was photoshopped to have the ocean be in the sky, DeadEye! That looks so amazing! I guess this means we're all just fish in the ocean of the world. =P

Ryona, that totally counts as scenery, and that fan has such a great steampunk vibe to it. XD I fee like if I detached that fan from the ceiling, held onto it, and somehow got it to still work, I could fly anywhere. Like my own, personal, steampunk jet pack. XD

Here are a couple of pictures I took today while at a park that I thought might be worth sharing.

I really like those, Fate! They're beautiful! The retro effect you placed on them is great! My favorite is the first one. Something about it just makes me feel comforted... like maybe I'm a turtle going home or something after being born, even if it's not an ocean. XD

Yesterday, it rained so much that there were snails everywhere outside despite it being daylight. I almost stepped on like... two different ones, Jonathan almost ran over one ((if he'd parked the car a foot or two farther up the drive, that snail would have been a gonner)), and there were others just littering the front porch and the garden. Thinking back, I think I saw maybe twelve different snails if not more. I also saw one slug, but I couldn't get close enough to take a picture without killing a snail by stepping on it and getting mud all over my shoes in the process.

Anyway, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take pictures of them! Here are my four favorite ones ((all five snails are different ones, too!))

This first one was just crawling all around the middle of the porch in front of the door and near the steps.

This next one was the one Jonathan almost hit with his car! By the time I got to it for pictures, it was even closer to the vehicle. This is my second favorite picture of the four.

These two were little baby ones that were crawling over the top of the right side of the porch.

This one was crawling in the garden in front of the left side of the porch. This is my favorite of the four.

I never knew a snail could be so cute!! Third one, definitely, xD, though they're all good. Thumbs Up

I've always thought they're adorable, but seeing them up-close and personal in all of their slimy, detailed glory really helps. XD

I love the third one, too. I love how it looks like the little snail is crawling toward the slightly larger snail, but in reality, my camera spooked it, so it wanted to get away from me. XD Eventually, they did wind up crawling together, but that was because the bigger snail got to the little one.

Oh, wow, I meant to reply to this earlier. I love the types of pictures you can take with your camera, Kathryn! I have camera envy. Smile I really admire the bokeh effects you managed to produce. The little snails are actually pretty cute. ^_^

Strangely, my little camera is just a point-and-shoot kind, but it takes some amazing pictures.

Snails are adorable. I love taking pictures of them. I got so lucky when a million of them decided to have fun in the daylight due to the rain, and it wasn't too dark, either. ^^_^^

Down the dirt roads a bit from my place, was sitting next to the creek on a little elevated spot and took this picture (looking away from the road at the small ford thing). Roughly two months old photo. Before everything out here died in the summer heat. Sad

Knowing it is all gone right now makes the picture even more priceless. I love when I drive to the beach during the right time of spring and everything is green when it is usually yellow Smile Great picture!

Indeed Ryona! The coast is so beautiful in those first few weeks of spring we get before summer comes and kills everything. Hehe. Thanks, glad that you like it. Smile

Oooh! I think it's lovely, Jani! I'm especially fond of the tree branch in the upper left corner. It just adds something nice to the photo.

Thanks Kathryn. Smile Hehehe. It was a small tree so I had to be all crouched trying to get the picture to look right without being too low (and getting the fence in the picture which I wanted to avoid) or being too tall and having it all branches. lol xD

Good job, Mel! It's a great picture, and looks like a really pretty place. Too bad summers are so oppressive over there. Hmm

Yeah, during the spring (and autumn) this is a rather nice place. But... summer turns it all brown and yellow and dead and just. Ugh. :/
