Ugh, I could not sleep. I laid in bed for about two hours, til about four thirty this morning before I finally fell asleep, and now I'm awake at seven. Jeez...
I also suffered from strange episodes of wish-washy thoughts and my stomach feeling ill. The worst part of it all was that I was so cold, even with my blankets wrapped around me. No matter what, I could not get warm... But, eh, I've been having that problem for a few months now, and I wonder just how much that's in my head...

That's right, commit yourself to a relationship with the same stoner dropout you cheated on me with just over a year ago. I spent months trying to recover from that hurt you inflicted upon me and when I do finally forgive you for it, you turn right around and start sleeping with him again only weeks after we break up. Then, just after the anniversary of you inflicting the deepest emotional wound of my life, you go ahead and twist the blade by becoming a couple. I have to say that I think it is the furthest thing from good taste, but it is your life so do with it as you please.
I hope he is more faithful to you than he has been in all of his other relationships. Then again, I could probably offer that same statement to him. Can't I? I'm sorry I prevented you from spending time with him this past year; had I known that he is the one you really wanted, I would have freed you from the confines of a relationship with me so that you could have run to his arms sooner. We went through this breakup with the understanding that we would do so to prevent the stress of a long distance relationship making us burn the bridge between us. That we could remain close friends and potentially reunite sometime in the future. Well, I can honestly say that not even cinders remain after doing this.
Thanks to you, I walk away from this with a fear of long distance commitment and will have to wait to see how long it takes that paranoia to fade. You hurt me too deep for the last time. I can offer you civility, but I can no longer offer you a shoulder to cry on or be a person you can confide in. If and when he breaks your heart, I will not be there to pick up the pieces; you’ve clearly moved on and so I shall do the same...

Loki, I'm sorry that had to happen to you, but I hope you know that long distance relationships aren't something to fear. The rate of success to failure largely depends on both people involved. Some people can't handle the distance, and some can handle. That's all there is to it.
I'm sorry that she hurt you so much, but you're probably a really great catch, and there's someone out there who will be far better to you and for you than her.

Loki is a great catch. He's a strong man, inside and out. An enduring soul who's got so much to him that makes him a brilliant person, and a fun person to spend time with. Though he's timid at first, with time and dedication to be more than just acquaintances, he becomes the greatest friend one can have. After having spent a lot of my life with liars, betrayers, and deceitful people, I've met one of the most honest, loyal, and faithful men ever. What was first simple conversation has progressed into laughter and depth. With a sense of humor that makes itself known at the best times, he makes my days and nights, and even my early mornings, great. And not just is he a good person personality wise, everything he does makes him great. Goal-oriented and smart, with a good head on his shoulders and dreams that aren't out of reach at all for someone so forward as him. He's the kind of man that can smile and light up a room, or tug at a weak girl's heart with ease. How the hell he's not being jumped by women, I've no clue.
My affections for this good-hearted man blind me from seeing how anyone could ever hurt him, but I know that the best people become who they are because of pain. Doesn't make it fair though. And all I know is that in the future it will make it better, because when you find someone who can appreciate you the way you deserve to be appreciated, it will be all the more sweet a reward. I know it is for me. And when you find that person, or a person that can treat you right, I hope they can heal all your wounds... I know I want to.
It's not fair, and it hurts, but it's done now. To move on is good, and no deep wound goes without a scar. I understand that as well, as a few know how my ex left me feeling so shattered self-confidence wise. But already I've found the greatest cure in Loki, who has made me feel whole and real when I thought solid was the last thing a man would make me feel in a very long time after my recent relationship. And that alone is a miracle of a thing, to see someone come to me and show me exactly what I've been missing. I never realized how much nonsense I've been dealing with until I met Loki, who opened my eyes and makes me feel so beautiful, wanted, and cared for. Because of this warm, amorous man, I'm healing at unfathomable rates from the wounds I've recently had engraved into my mind and heart.
But good things have come, and will come, of this. Of that I am sure...
His ex has thrown a man back into the world, that would make any red-blooded woman's knees buckle at the sight of him and send heat to all the right places; especially the heart. Someday when his ex realizes what she let go of and gave up, he will be tenderly enveloped in the arms of someone who will love him totally, completely, honestly, faithfully, unconditionally, and through all eternity.

Anyway...
I can't download Yahoo IM because, apparently, the file isn't a proper Win32 Application.
Fuck technology. Seriously. I'm so damn sick of it right now.

Uh, no... far too many people I know try using that and its unreliable as hell for them. And they have better internet. >.>
Besides, after a few hours of being ridiculously annoyed with it I have it working now.
Thanks though.

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
I'm really starting to get stressed out and a bit discouraged and depressed. In less than a month, I will be completely supporting myself financially for the first time in my life, and at that same time, I will be moving from my apartment into a nicer condo. The fees for this move alone will be (as calculated by my dad) around $4,000. Thankfully, my parents are going to help me out with this, but afterward, I am responsible for paying for my rent, bills, groceries, and all other expenses, and I'm just fearful something horrible is going to happen.
I've applied to more jobs than I can count, and I started applying at the beginning of my last quarter at school before I graduated from college. I was the perfect student in that sense, thinking ahead of time and trying to land a full-time job before I even graduated. However, I still am unemployed.
I've had only 2 job interviews (one for a dog trainer at PetSmart and one for a veterinary receptionist), and I haven't heard back from either.
I've been applying to all sorts of places, random jobs that I should be able to get with ease that don't always even require a Bachelor's Degree, so you would think it wouldn't be this hard. I just today applied for half a dozen art jobs to put my degree to use, so it would be wonderful to hear back from one of them.
My parents are freaking out and it's scaring me, and so I'm freaking out. My boyfriend, whom I live with and who will be moving with me, now has a full-time job working at Warner Brothers Games in Chicago, currently animating scenes for the upcoming Mortal Kombat game. So, thankfully he's in a very good position. It's just myself that I'm worried about.

Fate, I'm sorry you're having a hard time finding a job. I can imagine that would be really frustrating. The economy sucks right now, so job hunts are more difficult. I wish it could be easier for you. I hope you find a job soon.

Thank you, Kathryn. I really appreciate that.
I keep clinging to this hope that maybe I haven't found a job yet since the perfect one is just right around the corner, waiting for me. So, maybe there's a slim chance that'll be true and it'll come up eventually. It really is a stressful time with the economy.

Silvone and I are looking for work too, and have had the same luck you had, Fate. It's sad knowing that my bachelor's degree is potentially more harm than good in getting me employed...I'm overqualified for entry level positions but don't have enough experience to apply my degree anywhere else -_- Best of luck fate, we could use some too!

Fate, that's always a possibility. Maybe the universe is stressing you out because there's something better coming your way. Good things rarely come easily.
Have you also considered calling a few of those places to which you've applied to see if they've had any progress in reading through your applications or in deciding about your interviews? I wouldn't have a job right now if I hadn't called the place where I work to see about that. They just... didn't call me to let me know, and your calling them also makes you seem as if you want the job more which bodes well for their outlook on you.
Ryona, I hope you and Silvone are able to find jobs. My step-dad had a similar problem as you when she was laid off from one of her jobs a few years ago. She was overqualified for a lot of positions, but not qualified enough for what higher positions were available. The world can be cruel.

Ryona -- That's really disappointing to hear, Ryona.
I'm sorry you two are having such bad luck job hunting as well. That's EXACTLY what my boyfriend and I were saying to each other just yesterday!! It seems like most jobs we're after require 2-4 years experience in the field, so I don't even know how people get in the field lol. That, or we're just overqualified, like you said.
Kathryn -- That's very true.
That's a good idea, actually. A lot of them didn't seem to provide phone numbers, so I would have to do some digging, but I have e-mailed a few of them back. I don't even remember what the heck I applied for, there's been so many haha. I'd have to go back over all my e-mails. Calling does seem like a real proactive thing to do, and would certainly get them to notice you!
GREAT. More bad news!!
Our air conditioner is broken AGAIN. I knew it felt hot in here! I've been sweaty all afternoon. This is the 4th or 5th time it's been broken just this year. Every time they come to "fix" it, it only fixes it temporarily. I really just can't wait to move out of here in a couple weeks. I'm getting really tired of this.
Last time this happened, it got so hot, I suffered from heat nausea and got really sick. My heart was racing constantly and I wasn't hungry and ended up actually getting sick. It was so horrible. It's like impossible to fall asleep too when you're all hot and sweaty. :/ I just want to be in a normal human-living environment!

Fate, you should invest in portable fans. That way, you at least have some air circulation, and sitting right in front of one would hopefully help to keep you cool enough for the times when your air conditioning unit fails. =3

That is a smart idea. I only have one fan, and it's not really big enough. Given the cost of fans though and my current employment status, plus moving out of here in a couple weeks, I think now it's a bit too late though. At least, I'm sure counting out the new condos having properly working air lol.

Okay, so, now my bill is almost GUARANTEED to be over by a shit ton because my mother, without telling me, changed my texting plan. I rarely EVER text, which is what makes this so ironic. Lately I've had a giant influx of texts, and have been trying to keep up with it. And now, I told that person to stop texting me. THEN PEOPLE I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM IN FOREVER START TEXTING ME.
THE NEXT PERSON THAT SENDS ME A FUCKING TEXT IS GOING TO GET A COPY OF MY BILL IN THEIR MAILBOX.
I'm so pissed.
OH
and let me tack on more wonderful news.
I can't afford a bus ticket home from my Ohio trip. I'm getting there though. I'm going to Ohio if I have to WALK from Charleston back to South Boston. And for all the people around here that have heard of where I'm going and think that its the man's responsibility to send me back since he's taking me up there, big FUCK you because I can't stand this place as is. Those same people are dating drunks and getting the hell beat out of them, how dare they tell me Ben isn't being a good man by making me pay my own ticket?! It's only $67, but Jeez, I just can't seem to pull it out of my ass crack on spot. I thought I had it covered, and now its just like, no one will loan me the cash, grandma doesn't have it, and my babysitter backed out three weeks before the trip so I had been EXPECTING about $240, and now I have only $54.18. That's including what I found scrounging for change on my knees.
-_-
Today is not a good day.
OH.
AND MY CAT IS THE DEVIL. RAR TAO CAN'T YOU BEHAVE?! STOP EATING MY MAKE-UP APPLICATORS!!!! I HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN TO USE THEM YETTTTTTT!!!!!!
*passes out from anger*

I hope you can make it Eternity
I haven't had a moment's peace, not like I ever do. I've been asked to do more chores around the house but don't even get help with the stuff I already have to do. The dog is sick, Taeo wouldn't leave me alone all morning while I am trying to clean, and Silvone refuses to change his sleep schedule to better fit mine.
And to top it all off, I get called thin as an insult. I mean come on, I don't go up to you and say, "You're fat, you need to eat less." but you can come up to me and say "You're thin, you need to eat more!" I can't fucking help it so leave me be.

Eternity, that really sucks. I'm sorry things are getting shitty for you.
Ryona, I hope everything works out. I'm sorry that you're being pulled in so many different directions.
If it's any consolation, I think you're beautiful, and I think you have a great figure.
So, apparently I'm a bitch... This is how the conversation went:
Person: ((chatters about the Hailey Cummings case))
Me: I don't care about that case. It's none of my business.
Person: Neither do I. ((continues to chatter about the case))
Me: If you don't care about the case, why did you even bother to formulate an opinion on it?
Person: Well, you don't have to be such a fucking bitch! ((storms off))
I don't understand why that comment made me a bitch. I didn't care about the subject, and I clearly stated that. My stating that I do not care means that I don't want to hear about it. I don't care about it; I don't have an opinion on it. People need to stop being idiots. I don't care if I am related to her. Sometimes, I think she just talks to hear herself talk, and I would rather settle into a comfortable silence.

Thanks Kathryn. I know it is a silly thing to complain about, but I can't help but be annoyed by it...It has always bothered me, ever since I was little and my friend used to say I was ugly because I was too skinny. She was a mean person.
I have nothing to write...none of my role plays are waiting on me. However, I think that is partly my fault. I was never a great writer, but I feel that what skills I did have are slowly slipping away. A lot of my role plays have ended, and I think it is because my quality of writing has decreased.

Ryona, your friend was probably just jealous, and that person obviously wasn't a good friend.
I hate when that happens. When I get into a funk, I know my writing abilities decrease, but it's mostly because my interest in writing has decreased. Maybe you just need to give yourself time to gain more interest again?

Yea she was an awful person all around.
You are mostly right, but I just wonder if I was ever that good to begin with. I think I am realizing that there is a lot that I just can't do, and it has put me in a greater funk. Perhaps if I start reading some books on writing I may learn some new things and feel more comfortable writing again.

... just realized my last post could be misleading...
I meant I would have said the same thing as you, Kathryn. Sorry about that.
And my misleading previous post is my complaint. ^^

Ryona, It's always hard when you think one realizes they're not that great at something, but honestly, I think you're just your own worst critic. I'm sure if you look back on your past work, you'll realize you've made a big improvement from that point, and you'll feel better about things. I know that looking back at my past stuff has made me realize just how much I've improved overall.
However, it doesn't really stop me from feeling without ambition when it comes to actually role playing. The only thing that cures that is time away from it - at least in my case.
Melancholy, I knew what you meant, but it's always good to clarify.

That is true. I am always hard on myself! I've already complained too much today, so I think I won't make another complaint ^_^
edit: besides basically complaining that I am complaining....haha

My Ipod touch screen is not responding to touch. I think it is broken and the warranty has expired.

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
I complain that I have had a terrible slump lately... I have lost my urge to write, and day by day it doesn't seem to come back. On top of that, I've been trying to work some stuff out on my new laptop to prepare for school starting a week from tomorrow. I think my lack of progress is contributing an additional repulsion from sitting at my own computer (I'm on the family desktop now)... plus my brother uses my computer often because we have a game that works on my laptop but not our super-awesome gaming desktop (this one!). Tomorrow I plan to just sit down and force myself to start working, because I know people are waiting on me...
