A bit rushed, but, as promised, it's up. Sorry again for the absence.

Nice post, Quaker. I have a feeling our characters are going to have a lot of fun getting on each other's nerves lol. I've got some ideas cooking for my next post

Working on my first post. It's not going as smoothly as I had hoped because my creativity is a bit overused from doing two papers in a week but I will get it up tonight. Well I plan on getting it up tonight.

EDIT: Ok so I got it up and hopefully picked a decent color to highlight his thoughts. I didn't like the way italics displayed so I thought it needed a little extra to separate it form the rest of the text. Let me know if this bothers you so I can change it up. I don't want to cause problems.

Just giving you all an update. I'm going to be working on the next post, but might not be able to get it up before Sunday. It's been a long week with finals and I am about to make the 1000 mile drive back to my parents' place.

Yeah. I got Finals as well and have had a freaking blizzard reeking havoc over everything over here. After the start of next week I think I will be good though.

Posted. Their room has eight single-person beds spaced along the two primary walls. There is a long table and chairs standing upon a rug in the middle of the floor. The room itself is fashioned much the same way as the Inn's lobby.

Now is a chance to work in some socialization between the characters.

I'm working on a post, but I would like to wait until at least one other person posts first. Eri's not exactly the type to strike up a conversation with someone, at least not yet, so it would work better if I try to bounce off someone else's post first.

@Silvan & Quakernuts = Nice posts! I always love little insights into the character's mind sets or emotions. Well done!

*blushes* Thank you! I also enjoyed your post, Quaker. It's nice to know that Jake has a sensitive side in addition to his usual smart-aleck persona. And just as a general statement, it's so nice to be able to role-play with people who have such great writing skills and clearly put a lot of thought and effort into their posts. Just wanted to throw that out there ^_^

I enjoy being involved with people who actually know how to develop characters and not get board with the RP and let it die. So far I have been quite impressed with the quality of writing for this RP. Well with the exception of my first post. It was quite terrible or at least that is what I think. Anyway I assumed that since Loki said that Wild West tech was the type of tech in the world I figured telegraph was the best and most expensive means of communication. If that is wrong I can change it in my post.

Sorry for taking so long to post. I thought I would have more free time in the first part of my break but I think it worked out better in setting up Owen as a huge target for the whole group. I wouldn't trust some crazy salesman either!

I couldn't agree more, I am loving the effort you all are putting into the story. I'll try to get a post up sometime tonight, but I will be expecting some significant delays in progress due to the holidays. If you find some down time to post, then I'll eagerly be awaiting to read your contribution; if you are off spending time with family and loved ones, have fun and come back to Viemera when you get time to do so.

@Sunwolf - The world's tech varies greatly due to the vast potential Essence has for development. Large cities will be more advanced since they are so close to a Essence refinery, so you can expect to see things that are common in the early to mid 1900's. Telephones exist, but in their more simplified form in these cities. However, a telegraph is probably the right choice in this instance assuming you are communicating to a location outside of a major city.

Just finished Tsume's post, I will get to Loki's after a while. Don't worry about waiting for him.

I'm going to be away until Wednesday doing family stuff, but feel free to converse and the like during which time. Post order is irrelevant at this point, we are in the "get to know one another" stage. Shortly after introducing himself, Tsume will summon Alco, who is now the size of a Labrador, and proceed to mediate in a corner. Loki will continue his introverted ways and people watch in silence until I return.

I am going to hold off until at least someone else posts. I don't really have much to construct a post around until after the other characters start talking to him or ignore him. All I have right now is that Owen will smile as he shakes Tsume's hand and say "I prefer the term 'bold strategy' but to each their own."

I think I need a little bit more to at least have some sort of quality. Anyway figured I would let you all know what was going on with Owen/James. I hope you all had a merry christmas or a good holiday(s) you celebrate at this point in the year. I already have my new year's party planed and it's going to be awesome and I hope you all have fun reeling in the new year later this week.

I'm in the same boat, Sunwolf. My character is a bit difficult to write in social situations. Right now all I can write is Eri ignoring everyone or being introspective/observing everyone else. I do have an idea about her trying to initiate some kind of interaction when Tsume summons Alco to meditate, but other than that I don't really have much.

If it's alright with you all, mind if we time skip a bit? Raewyn would pass out fairly quickly, I'd guess. But once awake would be full of questions and demands which should generate some interplay.

Makes sense to me, almost everybody is beaten up to some degree at this point anyways and Raewyn hasn't slept for the past day and a half.

The second part of my trip was cut short on account of snow, so I'm going to be able to continue this RP without further foreseeable interruption.

I don't mind skipping ahead a bit. I can make whatever we do work. I don't know how busy I am going to be the next few days so if I don't post in a few days don't worry I will be back. I host a big new year's party and I think I will be busy with that the next few days.

I'm totally fine with skipping time. I'm also going to be busy with some New Year's stuff, including my mom's birthday, but I'm by no means dropping off the face of the earth.

Out of curiosity, did you all want me to advance time or were one of you wanting to do it?

I was waiting for you to advance the time, since I wouldn't know how long to skip and still keep with your goals for the plot. I promise I haven't dropped out of the RP; I was just lurking and waiting for word from you. I'm back at school now and have lots of free time, so I'm totally game to keep going.

Yeah, I was just reading on the others, and was waiting for someone to do a timeskip or something. Whatever you do is fine though.

Yeah. When you suggested a time skip I thought you were the one who was going to post to advance the time. I hoped you didn't think any of us were going to do it because we wouldn't know how far to advance it. Anyway I look forward to the next post so I can base my next one off of it.

Just posted. It's mostly introspection from Eri's point of view, but hopefully it'll get the ball rolling again. Honestly, my muse was being a little elusive tonight, so I apologize if it's not as good of quality as some of my other posts.

My posts a lot like Silvan's. Couldn't really come up with anything to add except James'/Owen's suggestion on a destination. Oh well at least I hopefully kept the ball rolling.
