Alright, got my post up so now you can go through the gate. As mentioned in my post, you have all become afflicted with severe Essence poisoning (for symptoms, refer to Radiation sickness). It won't take long for them to kick in. Shortly after you make it through the gate I'll leave it up to you to decide whether you pass out or remain conscious and feel the worst you've ever felt in your life.

Once everybody is through and the gate closes, I'll put up a continuation post that will bring about a fun surprise for you all.

A "fun" surprise? Loki, I'm beginning to question your idea of fun...

Anyway, I wanted to go ahead and post before I got caught up in birthday stuff and swing dancing this weekend. Yay for more character torture! Oh, and this post marks my 50th IC contribution to Viemera! WOOT!

A NEW ABILITY FOR EVERYBODY!!!!!!

Standard rules still apply in that it needs to be approved by me before being made official. Also, you are free to interact with the Temple Monks by messaging me for their responses to the dialogue. Somebody will also need to step up and explain what had happened (even if it is just summing it up by saying your character explains the past few weeks) since they will likely want to know.

Teeheehee...I'm working on my post right now (because I'm procrastinating on my real work), and it's quite entertaining. Loki knows what I've got planned, but let's just say that Eri's ability is about to make a rather unexpected entrance. And she's got a little plot twist in her character development coming up that I'm super excited to explore.

I figure Tal can be the one to explain everything for them. Tsume told Tal everything that had happened, and Tal is a good story teller.

Since he was recruited and has been an ally of the Temple for awhile, is it safe to assume Tal is at least familiar with who Adina is?

And sounds interesting, Silvan. Looking forward to reading it.

He would have never met her in person and what little information he had would be limited to her rank in the temple and other very vague bits that would have been mentioned in passing.

Alrighty, sounds good. Once I get my post to that point, I'll PM you for responses and such.

I also figured Tal would be the best choice to explain the situation to the Temple monks. I'll write in my post that Tal starts explaining things but leave it open for you to fill in the details.

EDIT: It's done! I just got on a roll and couldn't stop! Plus, if I didn't get it done before my class, I wouldn't get another chance to work on it until this weekend. Enjoy the plot twists!

Sorry about the delay, life has been kicking my ass as well as the post itself kicking my ass. I'll try to have it up here soon, but I can't give a solid timeline.

I'm dying of anticipation over here to see what happens next!

Sorry, things have been quite busy as of late. I'll try to have a post up this weekend, but there is a anime/gaming con going on as well as working with my dad to build an entertainment stand for my new tv.

Ugh. It's a painfully short post, but it's the stepping stone to the next portion. This is an opportunity for your characters to settle whatever personal/side stories they may have or to otherwise tie up any loose ends in your character development. This will be one of the last chances you get to do so before the story's epilogue. The next chapter of our story will be about as busy as the leyline was and will ultimately build into the final battle with Udonis as well as the plot twist to end all plot twists.

...you mean there's another plot twist that even MORE INTENSE than what we've already seen?!?!?!?!

Loki finished healing everybody at dawn, so it's about mid-late morning by now.

Haha, it would seem Quaker picked up on my theme and threw in a twist of his own. It shall be interesting to see how this plays out...

Between the two of you warring for who has the best plot twist, I'm going to end up with a broken neck from all the whiplash!

Posted again. It's just a quick one to wrap up the character interaction between Jake/Ekaj and Eri. I left it open for whatever happens next. She'll probably just sit out there and chill unless someone else goes looking for her or Loki decides to move the plot along. I can't wait to see what everyone else posts!

Does anybody need more time to flush out their characters or are you all ready for me to push forward?

I'm fine with moving forward. I'll have Eri and Arashi chat a little bit in my next post, but that can easily transition into whatever you plan next.

Unless Adina has anything more to say to Raewyn and/or T'yang, I think I'm ready to move forward too.
