Leaving for a Bit

I don't know why, but I'm really struggling with precalculus. It could be that my previous learning in mathematics didn't quite cover it, or I'm just dense. I don't know. But, until I get my grade back up, I won't be logging into this place again.

Good luck though! I know what it means to struggle in math, though personally I would give up math before FOG...but thats just me I'll do my best with Brenard...but I'm not very good at describing his style of fighting, so he may be on the back-burner for a bit.

It took me two years to learn I was never going to get the hang of Math Analysis. The second year I finished the class with a record-breaking 20%...

I kind-of like math, though it's not my favorite.

The only two things I don't get in math are Proofs and Imaginary Numbers.

Graphs are my least favorite part of math. There is nothing more evil than a graph. Except for polar graping. Polar graphing is amazing. AMAZING. I could stare at polar graphs for a long time >>

Thanks for your encouragement, everyone, but I'm now officially POed. The short story is difficult to comprehend without knowing the long story, so I'll forgo the former, and describe the latter.

All during my sophomore year (last year) at high school, I basically worked my ass off to complete a college registration form (Basically the whole deal, with some stuff added in). The hard work proved to be well worth it. My ACT scores sky-rocketed, the form was without mistake, and I somehow crammed all sorts of information into a 250 word essay they wanted. Two days after submitting my registration, I got the phone call. Come in next week for an... interrogation. (I forgot the actual word, just now.)

I go in, get interrogated, and am told not to be polite. (Don't call me "ma'am.") I leave rather shaken, it's my first college interview, and I think I failed miserably. I go home, stare at a TV screen, and then blunder through a day or two of school. Until I get the call. I'm proud to inform you, Cody Ander, that you have been accepted to attend Florida Gulf Coast University.

*fast forward*

My parents aren't liking my exam scores (Neither am I), and send an E-mail to the lady that founded, and runs Collegiate High School (What I'm in). We talk, she's disappointed, I'm POed. She tells me that she totally, definitely does NOT think we can bring my C up to even a B. It's totally impossible. I mean, I only have two-thirds of the semester to do it.

Yesterday, she appears suddenly behind me. Tells me that she is disappointed and has contacted the Officer of the Registrar, or what not to drop my class. I'm shocked, stunned, and POed, yet again. Still, the likelihood of my class being dropped is pretty low. Until I read the E-mail this morning.

So, I'm officially out of PreCalc, and officially, totally, and completely pissed at the counselor. My counselor who plowed ahead, and, without asking for my own counsel (It's a two-way system, because it affects my life to no small degree.) drops my class. Yay.
