I need help! Fast! Pweeze?

I'm trying to create some semi-neat team emblems for another community I'm with. The emblems are purchased through points and users can place them in their avatars/signatures/profiles/etc to show off and represent their team (which is one of four "groups" of users on the forum).

There are four teams, each represented by their color. Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. I tried to download what I THOUGHT was a PNG of a starting graphic, wanting to have something that they can place over any picture for themselves, but went >.< whenever I noticed that the white space was not canvas....it was white space. GRRR!

I've run out of ideas and I'm now looking for some help in designing some emblems. I don't have any professional photo software like Photoshop. Just Paint and good ol' Google Picasa (rock on Google! wh00t!)

Would one of you highly talented artists gods or godesses mind whipping up four emblems (each representing a team and their color) for me with your lightning-esque powers of creativity? The emblems don't have to be very big, but a suitable size that someone can "attach" over their signature or avatar using something easy like Paint.

Uh, gosh... You mean like on top? Like layering it? I'm not a photoshop queen, either, but I think if, on paint, your second color is white, and you select the second little thing with the cylinder and the triangle things when copying+pasting images, you can just put it over it like... Just put it over it? >_>; Is that what you're trying for?

Yes. That way the user can download the image file and simply "paste" it over another image if they wanted to get fancy. Think of it as having a neat little graphic pasted onto the corner of your avatar and tilted a little as if it was a sticky note that someone randomly slapped on.

The problem with mine is that the emblem is too complex for me to just cut around the object that I want and leave the white crap behind. Honestly, it would take me hours on end to get it right and without leaving it looking like a crappy, pixilated picture.

You mean you want the backgrounds to be invisible instead of a solid color? If so I could probably help you, just let me know what exactly you want. What should they say, any sort of style, etc.

Nothing very big as I said, just a square canvas with any 3D-ish symbol, each with a primary color scheme (red, blue, yellow, and green).

However, as you can see, the white space is not transparent as it should be. Thus they look bad. A re-design of those would be perfect, but any others will work just fine.

Well ok. Let me see what I can come up with. Is this for like a Medieval site or something or are the swords just a preference?

Swords were just a preference. AL will introduce Project Arrow: Extension Line in December. Then you'll know what all this is about.
