No play or anything, we just visited the history museum and were allowed to wear costumes. I think the bored part comes from the fact I had to wait an hour and a half or so. I didn't originally want to wear anything, but after EVERYONE else did (including the people I was waiting for), I decided to partake as well

She wasn't always so big, lol. She's grown so much just in the past month it is unreal!

Gasp! I didn't even realize I'd said "him". My apologies. I even remember seeing you mention that it was a female. Not to mention that her name is Sadie. I must have gotten wrapped up in the moment and said "him" out of instinct.

Anyway, I suppose that's alright. I'd feel bad for owning a pet, since I'm no good at taking care of them. It's easy to think something is cute, but maintaining them is too troublesome for someone like me.

I encourage you to post lots more pictures of her, though! She's an adorable doggy. Ehrm, I suppose that would go in a different thread, though. I'll have to start checking that one more often, as well!

Alright. I knew I had to post these sooner or later.

This costume was just for fun one day when all my siblings and I just decided, on a whim, to dress up in fantasy garb. This was a little over a year ago.

This is my costume. Yes, that is a bathrobe. Nope, it didn't cost a PENNY! Ha-HAA!!! In fact, I didn't spend any money for anything in my costume. None of us did, and they all turned out pretty cool. Even that tiny bag hanging at my hip--completely improvised. ^^ Granted, that still leaves me wearing a bathrobe.... but sort of a stylish one, I suppose. xD

Yes, those are belts around my neck. But they look kinda cool, eh? For being free? xD

Kalon, those pictures are awesome! I never had any creative siblings... Just ones who liked to be destructive... I think doing something like that would have been a lot of fun. For what you had with which to work, you all did a great job of creating a very fantasy feel!

Alrighty. There's been some confusion about who's who, which is totally my fault for not explaining it. I shall remedy that. ^^ Maybe I'll copy this to some Share Your Family thread someday. (None of you are stalkers, right? If you are, come right on over--and God help you. xD We can have a tea party--the English kind or the Boston kind, depending.)
For now, though, once again, here are the pictures.





OK so here goes. All my siblings in age order.

There's my older bro. He's got kinda dark blond hair, and he's the tallest by a couple inches. He's got a very zen personality, which makes it hard for people besides me to understand him. We've always been extremely close. (He's got a killer poker face, just to illustrate.) He's like a warrior/artist. Quite athletic. Our artistic styles are quite different. His are much more abstract (not scribbling, but more like tattoo art). Maybe abstract's not the right word. Anyway, it's pretty neat. Very precise.

There's me. Good ol' awesomely uberly fabulous me. ^^ My hair's been steadily darkening; it's dark blondish. I'm the second tallest, somewhere around 6'1" or 6'2". I'm not very athletic at all. xD I'm probably the smartest, though. ^^ I always win at most games--including board games, fighting games, strategy games, and so on. EXCEPT! My bro always, ALWAYS wins at racing games. Anyway, back to me. ^^ I've always been the Artist artist. Most of us have some skill at art, but I've been doing it probably the most. I started with animals from an animal book, then did landscapes, then people, then expanded to computers. After school is where the Writer side of me came in, which is how I know you guys!
Also, I play the Ocarina. ^^

There's Sister #1. She has dark hair and lives on the east coast. (We're trying to get her to reconnect with the family. She's the angsty, rebellious, manipulative type, hanging out with bad influences.) She was one of the ones missing from the group shots I just posted in the picture thread. She used to do acrylics, and she was pretty good, but she didn't have the passion. She was the type to trace things and call it her own, for example. She's pretty good at charcoal, too.

There's Sister #2. She's kinda like my best buddy, other than my bro. The two of us are hardcore Zelda fans and hardcore LOTR fans. We're currently writing a Zelda fanfiction, actually. ^^ She's the one that works at Starbucks. She's got the lightest blond hair of all of us. She's 5'5". NOT 5'4". ^^ She's AWESOME at colored pencils. Seriously, she's getting so good that many of her pictures look photoshopped. She pens her sketches, which I don't think I'd ever have the courage to do. xD Also, she plays the Recorder. (So does my dad, who also plays the acoustic Guitar.)

There's Sister #3. She's the smart, self-taught computery one. She knows HTML, CSS, etc., and she can find anything in the house no matter whose it is or whether she's even seen it before. Seriously, like magic. She's like our queen; she basically runs the house while the parents and older kids are doing stuff or working. She's very very shy everywhere except our house. Very into manga and reading. I've always said she has the prettiest face of all of us. ^^ She has kinda medium blond hair. She does computer art, more on the abstract, pattern-like side of things. Very cool.

There's Sister #4. This is the one with Kathryn as her middle name, like a certain someone here at FOG. She's the one standing next to me in the last image, holding the magical jewel. ^^ She's the extrovert. (Not that anybody in our family is as extroverted as our mom. We're ALL quite introverted. Our family would have no PR or functionality without Mom. ) Anyway Sister #4 takes after Mom like that. She's the athletic sort. Currently she's into horses, thanks to a very close friend of ours who owns a ranch. She's got a bit darker hair. Also, she plays piano.

There's Sister #5. This is Laura, like Kathryn Lacey's friend, recently featured in the Webcam thread. Sister #5's the one with her face unfortunately obscured by the bow that Sister #2 is holding. She's got the darkest hair of all of us (except Dad's, which is basically black, though it used to be blond when he was young). She fancies herself a fashion expert. ^^ Unfortunately, she exhibits some of Sister #1's attitudes. Here's hoping she'll pull through that. She's good at manga-style artwork. Also, like Sister #4, she plays piano.

There's Sister #6. The Ranger. Seriously. I think she has a crush on Viggo Mortensen. ^^ She also reads Ranger's Apprentice novels. Anyway, she draws the cutest chibis EVER. She's pretty athletic, too, always prodding us to take long walks or go hiking along our inter-urban trail. She's a budding Zelda fan, as well, greatly enjoying Wind Waker. She's got the longest hair of all the girls. Myself, Sister #2, Sister #3, and this one: Sister #6, are all the goody-goodies, the people that keep the rules and hold ourselves the closest to our moral center. ^^ I take the logical approach; Sister #2 takes the gentle approach, Sister #4 takes the forceful approach, and Sister #6 takes the motivational approach.

And, nine years later, there's Sister #7, the baby. Well, she's actually 4 1/2, now. She's a bubbly fountain. Unfortunately not pictured in the pictures here. We're trying to make sure she doesn't grow up spoiled, but it's very very hard. In addition to all the moral values and life lessons she gets and applies, I'm teaching her to like Nintendo. ^^ She knows all their names, "Mario, Bowser," on and on and on. She's very intelligent. Myself and others commonly talk to her in big words, teaching her what they mean, and she understands. It's very cool.


So that's our family at-a-glance. If this somehow paints a perfect picture in your heads, that's because I've only included what we are, not what goes on in life. Struggles abound. Still, this should clear up any questions about who's who. xD

Kathryn, I was often called vampire because of my maxillary canines, which were more prominent before I had braces (as in, they stuck out slightly more than my front teeth, making them very noticable). I often wonder if this constant nicknaming turned me away from the whole vampire scene, because I really don't prefer vampires.

Also, those bushes are green all year long. But it was quite sunny and hot today, so much so I almost didn't take a sweater to school. Good thing I did, considering by the time I got out of class is was cold, dark and raining!

Lieutenant, you're really beautiful. You have a wonderful smile, and I love your eyes. You should show us a more recent picture some day.

Yeah... I can understand that... I hate aliens for the longest time because my brother used to tell me I was an alien that our mom adopted... Of course... it didn't help that I looked nothing like our mom or my brother because I look like my father... I guess that's kind of different, but it's an example of how teasing can turn someone away from something others think are cool.

I wish it was always green here, but no... I guess the drab and dreary just makes me appreciate it more?
