So over the past month I have collected pieces for a Mrs Lovett costume...It's more like "The Ghost of Mrs. Lovett" or "Mrs. Lovett Wishes" but whatever, I am so happy with it. Keep in mind the hair and makeup are not done in these pictures, this is just the costume. I think it will look even better after I do the hair and make up, and add some accessories.

Other than the fact that you look like you're wearing a box under your shirt in the second picture, Melancholy, I think they're neat pictures. Those are with a band, right? The one on the very right looks like he's sick. XD I think I'm growing attached to your poofy hair. Don't cut it! heheh

Aww, Ryona! That costume is very cute, and the fact that it's not trashy at all is a definite plus. :: squee :: Don't forget to stand up straight! ^^_^^

I know what you mean about trashy, the striped part of my outfit is a costume from Hot Topic...OMG! If I wear only that my butt would be showing X[ So happy that I had a black skirt to go underneath!

I was trying to draw inspiration from this version of Mrs. Lovett and this one. Like I already mentioned, some wild hair and dark eyes should transform me into a true Mrs. Lovett!

Not to mention white powder make-up. You're not pale enough to be Mrs. Lovett without it. hahah I'm sure when it's all completely put together, it'll look better than we can even imagine. ^^_^^

Yeah, it is with a band. Children of Bodom (Finnish) though the second picture is missing Jaska (Drummer) because he was at the hospital getting things checked out. Was having trouble using his right foot the day before and then could barely move it earlier that day. Henkka (Bassist, first pic.) told myself and a couple friends during the meet & greet. Their set actually started about half an hour or more late because Jaska was still at the hospital right up until they came on stage. Poor guy had to be medicated like crazy but he still put on an excellent show.

Haha, that would be Roope. He probably wasn't sick, though most likely already partially (at least) drunk. xD As for the 'box' shirt ~laughs~ I'm probably never going to wear that again... was able to get it signed by the entire band so I'll probably put it into a frame. Hahaha

Oh and... I've no plans for cutting my hair any time soon, or even ever. Just wish it wasn't so poofy is all...

And Ryona I love your costume! It looks perfect on you! I definitely think you can pull of Mrs. Lovette (speaking of which, Jani, she was in Sweeney Todd). Very cool that you put that together by yourself! I'm so not as creative when it comes to costumes.

I was at a concert this weekend too! Except mine was made out of faggyharcorebullshit fail. Neon colors, Kanye West blind glasses, and new age mullets aren't cool. In fact, mullets were never cool I don't give a damn who says otherwise. Oh, and screamo sucks. It sucks hard.



I was brought by Sam, who wanted me to come to see her boyfriend's band.



This is Sam putting on makeup for her boyfriend. The girl in the background sucks at singing, but she's the lead singer. It's not bias because she replaced my best friend Zack, everyone in the concert complained that their ears were bleeding when she performed.



This is Mike, the reason I didn't sodomize myself with a rusty pipe that day. He's wearing my hoodie. Isn't he one sexy biatch?




Here's me after the concert, I'm listening to GWAR attempting to wash the sounds of crappy music out of my ear drums while expressing my opinion of that day. Oh well, least I got Wendy's out of it.

I’d suggest fixing that, Sighlent. Concerts are great. The only problem is having to endure certain opening acts… such as Black Dahlia Murder… gods they are terrible. Austrian Death Machine was actually pretty damn funny though. At least Between the Buried and Me weren’t on the list again.

You’re right, Inerio, screamo does suck; horribly. So does Metalcore. Sorry Gunneh but it is the truth… actually anything with the word ‘core’ in it pretty much sucks. :p

Oh! Melancholy, one of the things I've discovered about uploading pictures to the internet is that the smaller the size is, the easier it'll upload. I try to not have any pictures bigger than 600x600, but I usually go 500x500. You should try that.

Yeah, I usually don't let the pictures get much more than 600 px wide; that way they fit properly on this site.

Yeah. I know. I always think it's really... weird when people don't resize them to a size that will fit on this site before posting them. I mean, not only does it make it a total pain in the ass for dial-up users, you can't see the full picture without right clicking > copy image location > paste in a new tab/window. It's incredibly annoying to me, personally. =\

You know, normally I would... however for some strange reason the only program on this computer that can edit photos is paint...

You can resize pictures in Paint. It just takes a lot more work.

On the menu bar, select Stretch and Skew.
Under stretch, there is a horizontal and a vertical percentage. What I usually did before I had a good program was to put 90% in both of those boxes and select OK.
If you leave the Skew portions at zero, it'll just make your picture smaller bit by bit until you've reached the size you want.
If you save your picture and go to the file for the picture itself in its folder, it'll tell you how big the picture is if you either click it once and look at the part along the far left that says Details or hover over the picture with your mouse.

I took some pictures of the new shirt I got, and I thought I'd like to share them. They are neither of good quality or of good poses or facial expressions. It's late, so I had to take them in my bathroom with false light, and one is a mirror picture to show the over all look because I don't have anywhere to set the camera to have the timer take the picture. The shirt itself is teal, and none of the pictures shows the absolutely accurate colour, but you get a vague idea if you mix all of the colours together. heheh







Needless to say, this shirt is amazing, it looks great on me, and it's slimming because of the ruching. I love optical illusion clothing. ^^_^^

No, no, no. Of all of the clothing in the world in my size, probably only 30% of it looks good on me. I have an extremely hard time finding clothes that look good on me without accentuating things I wish weren't there to be accentuated in the first place. I also have a rather conservative style. I don't like to wear short skirts for instance or things that are frumpy. I also don't like pastels, and I can't wear light tans and khaki because they wash me out. I also usually have a really hard time with greens, but teal looks all right- probably because of the blue in it. There's an even longer list of things I can't/don't wear, but that would take a year to write, so yeah. ^^_^^

The back of this shirt is really cool, too, but I couldn't get a good picture of it. The only thing that sucks about it is that it cuts down the middle of my tattoo. =\

You're probably just being a guy. I spend time on my outfits too, more than I should. In fact, I go so far as to only wear T-shirts and sweat pants once in a blue moon.

We found this guy in the costume store, he was amazing. I want his job.


After that we went outside to be greeted by a multitude of zombies, including this girl. I look like a total dufus in this picture. Anyway, she was the best zombie. She also liked Becky, in that I want to eat you sort of way.


The ticket guy, he didn't speak, which was good. He did take tickets though.


Hobo Zombie (the only one capable of speech) and wrench man. I love wrench man. He'd chase the customers out of the Fright Factory while screaming various obscenities.


And then in the diner afterward Daniella developed an appetite for human flesh and tried to lick my face.

We're going back to the Fright Factory next weekend and actually going inside. I'm excited. Next year I want to get a job there.
