Hi.

I love to role play, and thankfully have found a proper website to do so. I am in grade ten, and live in Canada! *gasp*
Hobbies include writing and reading fantasy, as well as, obviously, role playing. I prefer fantasy or sci-fi role play's, but like all forms.
I am nerd, in every which way. I enjoy all of the final fantasy's, love the lord of the rings and star wars, as well as worship magic the gathering and D&D. Saying this, I wouldn't want anyone to think of me sitting in my mother basement......as we don't have a basement. Hehe. I also DO have a sense of humor, if not a sometimes sick one.
But, back to role playing. I have characters of every shape, size, and kind. Male, Female, Human, Mortal, Immortal, ect.
Hope I can get along with all of you fine, just wanted to introduce myself.

Isn't star wars great!?!?! Although I'm not completely obsessed, I do love it.
And sorry, heh, that is a mistake a lot. Though, other then apostrophes, I do pride myself on my grammar.
I didn't think green was too bad, but if it really bothers some people, or I get enough complaints, I will stop using it. Maybe I could use florescent pink instead? Hehe.

Florescent anything with the grey background is a bad idea. If I was you, I would stick with muted colours. Even the regular colors like red or blue or whatever are hard to tolerate. You have to search for dimmer versions or you risk blinding everyone.

Anyway, welcome to FoG! I hope you enjoy yourself in this place. Kalon and I are the resident grammar enthusiasts, so if you ever have any questions concerning that area, feel free to ask! ^^_^^

I also enjoy The Lord of the Rings ((I was an elf for Halloween)) and Star Wars, but as far as sci-fi goes, I'm more a fan of Star Trek and Ender's Game. heheh

How about this? It's supposed to be dark green, I thought maybe it would be better. Seems almost the same to me....ah well, I'll search for an appropriate colour.

Ah yes a Star Wars fan. I myself have seen the movies at least twice over. You like the original trilogy or the new trilogy better?

Oh and by the way welcome to FoG. It's a great place to sharpen your RPing skills and writings skills. Or you can just hang around and post in the discussion and forum game topics like I do. Cool

Well, I like the story of the older ones, but of course I like the effects of the newer ones.
I have a few questions. If I want to use a character that is not in my little topic in the 'archives', do I have to place him/her there? Or is that only for characters I want people to see?
And about the journals. It doesn't seem as if anyone who created one is adding anymore entries. Am I just not viewing this correctly?

You only place characters in your archive if you want. It's not a necessity. You don't even have to make an archive if you don't want to do that.

I don't know about the journals.

Your darker green font is harder to read than the other green was, actually...

I've been updating my journal semi-frequently, but not many people do. When they are updated, they aren't tugged back up to the top, so it is sometimes hard to tell.
