The Cold Canvas (Frostglare's Art Gallery)

Post by Adrius Frostglare on Thu Dec 17, 2009 4:18 pm

I have, especially as of late, begun to draw more and more often. Art class is to charitably blame for this. I have been drawing since I was very small, and am even the grandson of a painter (Carolyn Carr. Her page is here: http://www.carolyncarrbelize.com/home.html ) Art is in my blood as well as my mind. It is as such that, while I do not pursue a profession in the illustrative arts (I pursue one in performing arts instead) I am unwilling to remain idle of my talents in drawing. I am no da Vinci, no Michelangelo, no Van Gogh, but I can assure you my creations are not only viewable but even enjoyable... yet entertainment is not my sole goal. Everything has a reason behind it, a meaning.

"Natural Slavery"

"Haunting Sleep"

"Portrait of an Old Man"

"A Hand To Hold"

"Oval Hunter's Room"

"Spirit of Winterlord"

"Gaze" (unfinished)

"Touche"

"Bee Bonnie"

"Benedin Darker"

UPDATES:

"Timber Wolf"

For now, these are my most recent entries. They may be updated. Larger versions with detailed explanations on their meaning can be seen in my DA gallery: http://adriusfrostglare.deviantart.com/gallery/

Whoa, how'd I miss the white maiden?? Very Happy
That's pretty awesome, Adrius!! cheers

That timber wolf is quite good, as well. I think the eye on the right might be a bit too close to the center of the face, but that's some good coloring all around, and I like the effects of the fur. Thumbs Up
