Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
I seriously doubt I will reach even the 25 book mark. R. Scott Bakker's books really slowed me down, though they are incredibly enjoyable. I did reach 19 books though.

Finished book 22!
School has started (if you haven't realized that already...) so I expect my count to slow down even farther than it already has. But I continue to plug on!

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
I think I may have been slightly ambitious with setting the challenge for fifty books, seeing as I haven't even read twenty five yet and I have until February.

But, I'm still going to try. It'll just turn into a challenge to see how long it takes me to complete it.

Well, February is still several months away. I'm sure you'll be able to do it if you really set your mind to it. =3

Editted my list again as I've finished my second book! (I'm going slow, but I'm just curious to see how many books I manage to read in one year).

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
I've finally finished my twentieth book, as well as the Prince of Nothing trilogy. Absolutely wonderful story, and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of good fantasy (though it is a bit dark and vulgar).
I think now I'm going to tinally go back and finish the Drizzt series.

Finished book 23!
I'll be starting the next book(s) in the series after my class is over. I'm not 100 percent how to count this book, actually, because it's technically two books in one. Should I count them separately, or together because of how they're printed?

If they're technically two books, I'd count them as two separate books. I did that with the Chronicles of Amber. It's ten books in one, but the volume I had contained all of them.

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
Although I haven't been on fog awhile, I can't let my completion to unnoticed (my petty pride). 101 books completed, and I am done for the year. The closest one I'd be able to reach would plausibly be 125, and I'm not going to risk that (officially).
But this shouldn't be interpreted as a full sign of my devotion again :/

I stopped reading for a long while...stress and depression taking its toll.
I have picked up a book that is long overdue, and forced myself to read it until I became interested. I only need to read seven more books to reach my personal requirement!

I'm really glad you picked up a new book, Ryona. Seven isn't very many books at all, so I'm sure you'll reach your goal!

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
At my rate I'll be lucky if I hit 25 books. I was doing alright for a while, but I'm kind of disappointed in R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt books.... so I'm not really in the mood for reading anymore. Those books were at least half of my list!

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
Silvone, you can always scrap books and choose new ones to replace those ones. Honestly, I don't even add books to my list until I've accessed them and decided to read them. It's more of an add-as-I-go thing for me. You don't have to read the books you've listed. This challenge isn't meant to be a death sentence. XD
I just updated the list with everyone's progress.

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
No, thats not it at all. I've just been meaning to read them for a while now, and now that I have all of them and a reason to read them...I don't really want to. Its just kind of disappointing because I've been wanting to do it for years

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
It took me four days to read the 814 page book, but I finally finished it. It's the seventh book in an ongoing series, and ended with quite a cliffhanger. I put off reading it for a year, and I don't know when the next one is going to come out
All I have to say is...I'd love me a scottish mohawk.

I haven't read it before, but my roommate/bff made me watch the movie, which was surprisingly awesome. Then she told me it was a book, and I got super excited. Then she told me she HAD it, and I got super, super excited. And here we are! Haha.
