Escapades of the Common Thief OOC

The shroud of darkness covered the city with the perfect cover for a job. Hard to believe a bustling city could be quiet on a Wednesday night. Another gunshot fired into the air, “Freeze damn it!” The shouting was just getting annoying now, another jump above a dark alley and it would be golden. The drop spot was just up ahead. With a quick glance to the right and left an expletive was mumbled as the drop wasn’t here yet, and here came the fun.

“Finally, he we are.” A pistol could be seen in the hand of a police officer, “Come on, it’s over, put your hands up and I’ll take you in.”

“But good enforcer of the law, do you really think it is over?” The man slowly raised his left hand, tipped his cap with his right with a smile. “You really think I would give up this easily?” The man stepped back right off the edge of the building. The officer stood dumbfounded for a moment then smiled stupidly while looking over the edge to see a pair of tail lights into the distance.

The hay in the back of the truck didn’t make much of a soft landing. Theyerd sat up and knocked on the window, which the driver pulled open at the sound.

“You really couldn’t find something softer?”

“It’s not important. Did you get it?”

“You really think I would risk falling off a building if I hadn’t gotten it? You know damn well I never give up on a job of this magnitude.”

Theyer smiled and pulled a golden chain out of the inside pocket in his coat. Its shine itself was a thing of beauty, but what was on the end of it was the real prize, a locket, with a key inside.

“What’s the key for Theyerd?”

“You’ll see, you’ll see.”

The truck stopped at a small, roadside gas station, Theyer jumped out of the back, "Thanks Jim." He shouted and proceeded behind the building. He smacked a nearby trashcan three times, and a door opened in the station, leading into a small tunnel.

"Ah, home sweet home, here I come."

Bio: Theyerd is one of the most notorious international thieves in history. He is wanted in 32 countries, though, not for anything more than theft. He was born into a wealthy family, until they were robbed by another international thief by the name of “The Heron”. His parents were killed in that robbery, but it was an accident, they had both fallen down the stairs running to see what the problem was, his father slipped and knocked into his mother, and they both suffered critical injuries. “The Heron”, being a thief and not a murderer, took the boy in and raised his as his own. Teaching him how to get by and the skills needed to learn how to get out of confrontation, along with swiftness of the hand.

Bio: Being born into a poorest of poor family, Sole was thrown into the streets on her own at a young age as her alcohol abusing mother could not take care of her. Maybe it wasn't as much as being thrown into the streets as a decision the then twelve year old made herself, figuring she'd be able to grow into a better person on the streets than she would if she stayed with her mother. It was on the streets where she taught herself the abilities she now posseses, as it would sometimes take her ages to wait for just the proper moment to steal her dinner. Other street youth would sometimes ask her if she wanted to be part of their gang, but Sole always refused as she operated best on her own and also believed that the more people she worked with, the bigger the chance on discovery and betrayal would be. Until, of course, she met the ones she trusted enough to hook up with.

Appearance: Cayden has long autumn red hair which she normally wears in two plaits either side of her head and blue eyes which stand out against her pale skin. Being a red haired person naturally seems to mean that she comes with pale skin, something which Cayden personally hates. Along with this, her face seems to be painted with numerous reddy-brown freckles.
C stands at around 5'6 in height and has meat to her bones. Despite everythng she's gone through and having to survive on the streets for years, she's maintained a healthy looking figure through pickpocketing and stealing food - skills that she learnt from an early age.
Her typical attire that one can find C in is a strap top and torn, loose fitted jeans. If it's cold, you can often find her wearing an old black hoodie that she's had for many years now, since she stopped growing at around the age of 16.

Biography: Cayden has never known her father. All she was told by her mother was that he was a low life piece of scum that she didn't need to get involved with. Not that her mother was much better, she was an alcoholic and addicted to Heroin finding them more important than her young daughter. Because of this, Cayden was allowed to pretty much run wild around the streets and easily became accustomed to gangs and crime.
It was at the age of eight though when social services got involved and took Cayden away from her mother and into foster care. C didn't like it one bit and refused to co-operate with them and find a good family that would set her on the right path in life. She wanted her mother and freedom. No matter what foster family she was put with, or in what home, Cayden continuously caused trouble and ran away.
When Cayden was 15 her mother died of a drugs overdose. It had a devastating effect on C and in anger she ran away once again, though this time was never found. Already having the skills of pickpocketing and thieving, C did pretty well by herself. She learnt how to plan things and go about them without getting caught. By 19, this skill had got her involved with a gang and she'd been there ever since, making them her home and family.

Bio: Ryu Daigo's parents were immigrants from east Asia. At first glance, Ryu seems very well mannered. The very air around him seems calm and collected. However, the thoughts running through his head tell a different story. He could be sitting down, enjoying a nice cup of coffee; but in actuality, he's already planning how to blow up the coffee shop with the appliances inside. If a car happens to pass by, he'd break down the procedure in his head to get the biggest and most satisfying explosion from the automobile.

It was no surprise that, with this disturbed mentality, Ryu was kicked out of his home. He set his teacher at school on fire during lunch break. It wasn't out of mental breakdown, though - he had it all planned. The burning teacher ran from the cafeteria, setting off the fire alarms (which he had rigged) to pull the tripwires connected to the sprinklers on the ceiling. These tripwires set off his makeshift bombs hidden in the janitor's closet, and... you can probably guess the rest.

Ryu migrated from town to town, finally stumbling upon Theyerd. He interested Ryu and so Ryu decided to tag along with the man.

Leviter has platinum blonde hair, sweet green eyes and skin so pale it almost appears albino. As far as clothes go, he likes to have as little on as possible. His appearance to be around thirteen or fourteen allows him to attain his cute boyishness, but because he is at the age of maturity, he has the lanky edge of an adolescent. When he was young, Leviter had many steroids injected into his body as to stunt his growth when he was around thirteen, causing him to be 5’ 2” in total height. Other drugs taken at this time caused the freezing of the hormonal changes in his body, when he was just blossoming into a sexually curious being, but not yet attaining body hair.

Bio: Before the alterations he involuntarily took, Leviter did not remember much of his life. Of course, there was little to remember. It was a simple arrangement: his parents owed a lot of money to a drug lord, so they bartered their thirteen-year-old son to ease their debt. The drug lord forced the halt of physical change on Leviter, and kept him as a sort of pet. Eventually the drug lord grew tired of Leviter for his personal use and sold him with a high price to a wealthy foreigner, who took him across the seas to Europe. There, Leviter served as a play thing for his new master, learning how to please by reading emotion through body language, facial expression, and diction. After awhile the European shipped him off to a new master, a lonely and extremely rich housewife in Japan. By day he babysat and watched over her three small children, and by night she was pleasured by him. It was not long after that an American organization for human rights found and rescued him, bringing him back to the States. However, Leviter didn’t like being confined by the liberal activists any more than he liked being kept as a pet: in both situations he was treated like he didn’t know what he wanted and was controlled by a larger hierarchy. So he escaped and ran to the streets, where he earned his money by prostitution and begging with his cute, irresistible face.
