Emoria Character Icons

It's a reverse signature, right? I always center my regular signature, so I'm going to do the same for the reverse one. ^o_~^

Well, no, it's not a reverse signature. It's a character icon. ^^ More like an identifier, a sort of snapshot; instant recognition. Also, your avatar is on the right, your sig is centered, so the character icon is on the left. xD It's actually more like a reverse avy/sig/profile.

The avatar of the character is only on the right if a person chooses to have a set-up of the character. I haven't, but I do need to upload the character to my photobucket to stick her into my character sheet.

Anyway, it was always said that these were supposed to be like "reverse signatures," so that's how I'm going to treat it. "Signatures" tend to identify things anyway, so it's still an identifier.

Well, it's not like I can stop you.
It's just that the idea was to have it standardized so that when you scroll down the role-plays, the character icons are all in a row. ^^ I guess I'm a little perfectionist. xD

Maybe you are, but I care more about how my personal posts look than the overall. I think the centered reverse-signature looks best.

Yes, go ahead and direct link them. But you can also upload them yourself if you want. I don't mind.

For portraits, the ones I make are shared ownership with myself and the person I made them for.
For these icons, Silvone and Ryona have some ownership along with myself and whoever the icon is for.

OK, so here is a little how to.

Rightclick your image and go to properties, and copy the address (URL). It should look something like this:

Alter the code to make it visible on the forums by adding these tags to the front and end of the URL:

Now, copy and paste the entire edited code into your character sheet (if you choose) and IC posts (if you would please).

I really suck at making directions but hopefully those that didn't know how to do it now know how to.

It also works to click the little image button and paste in the link, but I never use that anyway. ^^ This way is easier and simpler, I think, and it makes you smarter 'cause you're learning how to do it on your own. xD

I like learning it on my own, but the thing that really turns me off from the image button is that it automatically adds it to the bottom of your post, which gets to be annoying especially in instances where your post is really really long or there is lots of images.

Yeah, it does that for everything, I think. And it seems like that's true almost everywhere you go, though I have seen a few places that just keep it where the cursor is. ...maybe we should mention this to an Admin... xD

I find it annoying too... same with the way it sends you back to the top of your post when you "highlight-bold/italic/underline".

To the name to be precise, in my opinion, just Perun would suffice. Most wouldn't know he was a kinslayer and I doubt he'd run around advertising it

In retrospect, I should have mentioned that in my earlier post, sorry for being so difficult!

I guess the titles would be,

First of Sythen and the other title would be Lady of Darkness.

Should it be Lady of Shadow? to match Morgarath's title, Lord of Shadow?
