BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

Attention users of FOG,

This is your DJ speaking. The weather in Missouri right now is freeze-your-ass off cold, partly cloudy, winds at ten miles an hour, and there is a 100% that you'll see a theme-changer very shortly.... wait, how'd that get in the forcast?!

Ladies and gentlemen, ghosts and ghouls, haunts and spirits; lend me your ears eyes. In a very short time, you all will have access to a very special feature that will be able to transform this very dark, ghostly skin into a much lighter tone, as originally dreamed about during the early days of FOG.

In the FAQ (yes, we have one....) one of the questions is

Can I change the layout scheme/skin?

The answer was basically a "no, not right now". For many years, since Forumotion (our provider) began, theme-changing was no where to be found. In fact, they probably never will integrate such a feature into their control panels. However, I was lucky enough to stumble across a super coding expert with fourteen years of experience with web mastering, coding, and all things geeky (in a very good way).

Dion, this coding genius, is currently the only Forumotion client to have a working theme-changer on one of her boards. She has managed to do this without the easy template editing features provided by forum versions like PunBB, or PhPBB2. She's done this on the very board version we have at FOG (PhPBB3).

All of this geek talk translated into English means the following:

You will soon have a working theme-changer.

At the time, I will not reveal any screen shots, hints, or details about your secondary theme. There is always possibility to have more than two themes in the future. There always be your choice of preference. And there always be a time (which is whenever) to suggest your own designs, or provide your own input.

For the time being, the secondary theme is complete and waiting to do its job of serving you. We can give you an exact date for when the theme-changer will be launched, but we can tell you that it will be so soon that you might not want to take a vacation right now, or you might miss out on it.

This is a gift to FOG from both Dion and me. We ask only for your input and advice for how we can improve future themes, and get them rolling out as quickly as possible. Further more, don't think me, thank Dion Designs. All credit for the theme-changer and its coding goes to this person and her talent. I'm just the middle man / messenger boy / your favorite, kick ass DJ.
