Re: Emoria: OOC
I am very pleased with how this discussion has turned. It seemed to instantly become positive, and that encourages me greatly.
Firstly, I just want to declare that yes, Raptorman contributed a lot. Just to establish that.
It was mostly just the portraits that were my contribution (and that with Ryona's help). Raptorman was a bit more involved in the world-building, so if there WAS a "caste" system, I'd probably put him a bit higher. ^^
That said, I agree with everyone that this belongs to us all, since each of us is involved. A collaboration of epic proportions. An epic struggle -- with an epic prize. This positive turn makes be believe in this RP and everyone in it all the more.
I'm excited too that there'll be a list (haven't seen it yet), and I look forward to helping with the resolutions however I may.
So, congratulations, everyone! It looks like we're well on our way to putting this behind us.
Onward!

I know; I meant I hadn't checked that thread yet. Doing so now. ^^
Thanks for saying that, though. It's always good to make sure.

Re: Emoria: OOC
Because of its current status as a big MAYBE, I won't reveal all of the details I have in mind as of yet. However, I will be trying to work with Raptorman and Spectre for the new character I have put up. To put it blunty, Valinyx has fallen (at least parts of it has, and certainly not openly). As soon as I have some details, I will get them up here for you all to see
I don't like ruining the story, but it will be better than ruining someone else's plotline.
Edit: And thank you, ImmortalSin, for giving me such an interesting base to make an evil character! It is probably nothing like you intended for the Valinyx (except the small group you mentioned as rumors)...but I think it works rather nicely

Re: Emoria: OOC
I read the character sheet, Silvone. Sounds interesting. It would definately be an interesting twist to have Valinyx fall.

Silvone, I'm actually really surprised that you've created a second character when you were ready to quit despite having just the one.
I hope you can handle it, but you know yourself better than I do, so I'm sure you wouldn't do anything you thought would overexert yourself.
It's good to have another baddie in the game.

Re: Emoria: OOC
I won't be using her for a while, I think. It will give me time to get some assignments done (the three big ones that I have). I may even rejoin FOG afterward, for a time. I have no idea. I am probably overtaxing myself, but I had some creativity I needed to let out.
Edit: The two pictures of the character are up in the character sheet now, if you want to see what she looks like.
Kalon, could you make the reverse banner for her? Please?

Re: Emoria: OOC
Yeah sorry for all my lateness. It's taken a lot of thought to do this so i'll have my character stuff up as soon as possible. I lost or deleted my emoria stuff so i have to re-do it all. I'l be coordinating more with Silvone and company a bit, as well....

Re: Emoria: OOC
I'll try to make a character icon for her on the 15th. Then I'll do Spectre's previous order if I can fit it in on that day. Then maybe Loki's if I'm on a roll. It's high time I got down to finishing some of those. ^^

Re: Emoria: OOC
Ugh... I feel like I'm being about as fickle as I've ever been... but part of me wants to stay even while the other part wants to leave.
I've decided that instead of deciding outright whether I'm going to stay and continue with other threads, I'm going to get Saila through the Council, and once that comes to a close, I'm going to decide.
I have an insatiable curiosity, so the idea that Danger has something secret planned between my character and his character is really getting to me. It's like... I have to know... and I don't think he'll tell me if I just quit. ^o_o^
Also, I realized that I was looking forward to the whole Saila/Saint dramatics more than I originally perceived...
I'll just have to wait and see. My interest in this has been shaky, sometimes waxing, sometimes waning, but I believe that once I finish the Council thread, I'll have a much clearer idea about what I want to really do.
Does that make sense?
I feel awful for stirring things up only to feel differently a little later. It's just... argh... I don't know what's wrong with me. I've never been this fickle in the past. :: sighs ::

Re: Emoria: OOC
I feel exactly the same way Kathryn. I wanted to leave...I thought I was done with the whole thing. But I can't just leave. That extends to FOG in general. Despite me saying I've left (and it is a relief not to be expected to post anywhere besides Emoria and Sephiris), I find myself staring at the FOG index waiting for something new rather than doing my homework. I even said I wouldn't retain control of Emoria, but rather than letting things go as they would I try to influence things with the group discussion.... Maybe I'll never actually leave...

Re: Emoria: OOC
FoG reminds me of the town where I live...
People always say they want to leave, and sometimes they do, but they always come back. It's like once you experience it, you're tied to it until the end. FoG feels the same way.
I'm glad that at least one person can understand my conflicting feelings about this.

Yay for ficklety!
(is that a word? xD)
Do please do your homework, too, Silvone. I know what it's like to be entranced by watching the new posts coming in. If you finish your homework first, it won't backfire on you later for piling up. xD

Kathryn, I think it helps that we put our feelings out there, so that people realize to be a bit more courteous and collaborative. I think it is best that you wait and decide when the time comes

I must say that I am glad things are starting to work out. I was so worried that this role-play would fall apart. This is the biggest role-play that I have been apart of here and I really want to see it succeed.

In my post, I mentioned a possible surviving group of Saves (Sah-ves) leaving the Jasidin swamplands to go practice dark magic elsewhere. If anyone wants to build upon this feel free to PM me, otherwise, it might be a good story for possible future members.

No, I kind of had the same feeling as you as to not to bring animals into this meeting, so Jean probably just left him outside. Carbo is probably just flying around aimlessly through the city waiting for Jean.
