IT'S ALMOST FFXIII RELEASE TIME!!!

So who pre-ordered it or is going to get it? For what platform? What are you expecting? Is it going to be as epic as FFVII and X, or as dramatically bad voice acted as XII? What're your thoughts?

I pre-ordered it for the Xbox 360, since I don't have a PS3, but I'll be getting the collector's edition for the price of the normal game because I pre-ordered it.

Wait... so there is a collector's edition? Why the hell have I not been able to find it anywhere? Because of this is why I have not pre-ordered it yet... (I only pre-order games if I can get the Collector's Edition...)

Well then, if I can somehow find a Collector's Edition to pre-order I will do so for the Xbox 360, since I too do not own a PS3.

Personally I'm really hoping that it keeps with the way things were going with FFXII. Sure, a lot of people said it wasn't that great but, personally, the maturity of the plot was what made me like the game so much. Of course, I've never played FFVII myself... only bits and pieces of about two-six and then X and XII.

Not dreaming about it, but I am looking forward to playing it.

Yup, there is a collector's edition, but I believe I read somewhere that the collector's edition will only be released in Europe, so maybe that's why you weren't able to find it.

They advertise all over the place here to pre-order it now so that you get the collector's edition for the price of the normal game.

Hey! Give us a break will ya! We usually miss out on a lot of gaming fun since an awful lot of games don't even get released here, let alone a collector's edition!
