What's your favorite letter in the alphabet, and why? If your favorite letter is the one your name begins with, then what's your next favorite? ^^

Answering this myself, I'd probably pick M, which means I'd have to pick a second favorite, and I guess I'll go with....... K, because it can be very fancy and fun to write. It's both solid and flowy. And I guess that's a little bit cheating, since Kalon begins with it, so... next favorite I guess would be S, because it's curvy and flowy, which makes it fun to write. ^^

I'd go with C I guess. It's the first letter of my second name, but that doesn't count, right? I like it because it's round, yet steady and flowy at the same time and somehow I get a nostalgic feeling from it. I like how it's just a tiny bit away from being a circle, just because something's missing. I think it's a classic letter and I also like the sound of it when it's pronounced. It's also funny how it can both have an S-sound and a K-sound.

Do you believe in (a) God?

I don't think I'd necessarily call it 'God'. In a sense, I believe the Earth is alive, that every natural thing is interconnected to every other thing. However, even I sometimes am skeptic on this, so it's hard for me to really take any belief into perspective. A lot of the time, it all just doesn't seem possible to me, but I know there has to be something other than ourselves.

What is the strangest thing you've ever seen your pet do? If you don't have a pet, what is the strangest thing you've seen an animal do?

Jumping in the bath tub out of the freakin' blue, while there was water in it! Then, as soon as his tail and paws hit the water, jumping out of it, into the laundry basket and then fall out of it. My cat was an idiot He also hid under the bed whenever the window cleaner came to clean our windows. Oh, and he also used to invite his friends over for dinner. (I discovered more than once strange cats in the hallway that were eating his food).

Are you afraid of death?

Nope, not a bit. That's one of the great thing about spirituality.
The dying part might not be so pleasant, but death itself? I can honestly say I fear it not.


Do you use the & or the + when writing an 'and' sign manually?
I use the &, or sometimes the backwards 3 with two vertical lines above and below it.

Nope, never use the & but I do use + since it's shorter

If you had to move to another country, what country would it be?

Japan!

I had to answer this one, because I've been infatuated with Japanese culture (and other things) since I was really young. Keh, I could die happily in that country.

If you could learn to fluently speak any language, real or fantasy (such as Draconic, Ryl, etc.), what language would you want to speak?

Japanese! I think it's one of the most beautiful languages in the world and well... I don't see why I would want to learn any non existing language Hurrah for me, I'm the only one who can speak/read/write it! In that case, I could just as well come up with a language of my own Japanese it is. I'm really into Japan as well, but I doubt I'd die happily there

In a perfect world, what would a perfect you be doing in 10 years?

Probably sleeping, since the world would be so darn perfect and, most likely, perfectly boring, too.

If you could live in a novel, which one would it be and would you take on the role of a character in it or simply be yourself?

I'd be in The Dark Tower series and I'd be myself, but I would want to be part of Roland's ka-tet.

Most annoying trait seen in role plays?

Over-powered characters. I severely dislike that, but far too many people feel the need to do it.

Ooh, let's see. Probably my contagious good cheer.
(not to steal the love away from my intelligence. I am so grateful for that, but I figure it's not necessarily a personality trait, unless one came off as intelligent, regardless of actual IQ)


If you were to take all your favorite elements of all your favorite languages, real or imagined, what would this new, über language be like?

I don't know what it would turn out like, but 99.9% of the words would translate to something wholly unacceptable in the English language. The other 0.1% would be socially acceptable but extremely aggressive.

Math. Mathematics. Arithmetic.

What is/was/going to be your major?

Anthropology, with a minor in Art History. I might be getting a second BA in Studio Art, depending on if I can find a job.

If you could live in a different historical era, what would it be?

Preagricultural Eastern Native American groups, or any NA group that was considered Matriarchal. I'd be too afraid to be a woman in any other part of the world at any other point in time....:/

EDIT: Though, in all honesty, in any time before ceserean sections were around I'd be royally screwed.

A defining thing that I've regretted....
Probably this one time when I retaliated against my older bro when we were little by ripping up some of his artwork. I felt soooooo guilty immediately afterwards. Never done anything of the sort ever since. Terrible, terrible feeling, to do something like that.


What's an odd or unusual talent you have? (preferably not a gross one, please)

I'm strangely flexible in ways I don't think I should be. Such as I can bend my pointer finger almost all the way back to my wrist, and bend my toes at individual intervals (I dare you to try it)

Have you ever started a serious relation ship over the internet? If so, through what and how long did it last?

My current relationship with Misery began over the Internet. I found him when I was hunting for a good role play, we became friends, and he eventually convinced me to be with him. We got together in October of 2008, and we're still very happy together.

What is the most selfless thing you've ever done?

This is difficult to answer, considering that I can see the personal benefit in almost every action of my life, even if I didn't do it for myself. For example, I didn't go to college for me, I went to be the first in my family to get a bachelors degree, but obviously there is major personal benefit.

I would have to say though, it was probably moving into my grandparents and giving up working. I did so, so that I may raise my son instead of sending him to a daycare. Again, there is the personal benefit of being around my son all of the time, but it is a difficult job, on top of the fact that I gave up a lot of personal freedom by giving up my paid job as a student archaeologist and giving up my home.

Have you had a near-death experience in your life?

Jeez. Well if you count being hit driver side by a drunk driver or being mugged with by a guy with a knife (who I fought off) and another time a guy with a gun. (Who I did not fight off. Cause you know I like living.) Then Yes I have had plenty of bad luck.

If you could visit any known planet in the known universe for a day which planet would that be?

If you had the chance to be recognized throughout history for one thing, what would you want it to be?

Synchronizing watches with every other Twilight hater in the world and simultaneously igniting every copy of every book in that goddamned series. Or at least being an awesome critic. (I don't know, doing something worthy of memory is a lot of hard work >_>)

What's the greatest story setting you've ever conceptualized? It doesn't have to be something you put down on paper, it can be something you have thought of but haven't written down yet, etc, etc...

The greatest story I have ever conceptualized is still in progress. It is what I hope to be the novels I will someday write. I've written most of one, but there are at least nine more, plus a couple of spin-off-like stories and others that are less related, yet still related. Yeah...kind of confusing.

I've been working on it for years though, and I'm rather impressed with it, if I do say so myself.

What is the most awe-inspiring book you have ever read? As in, what book as left you, upon completion, wishing not only that there was more, bu that you could have been there and could have experienced all of that yourself?
