I go fairly minimalist myself. I tend to change background pictures quite frequently though; I tend to like either really sarcastic or satirical images, or really beautiful, artsy ones. Take a guess what mood I'm in right now.

Whoa! Those Lost Star Wars posters are awesome. Very Happy I (used to) love that show.

Here is my background currently. The creature is something I created and had an artist on deviantART draw for me. I found this cool underwater city wallpaper online and just put the creature on top of it to make a wallpaper out of it. ^^
