... Oh, why hello there. Didn't see anyone else.

I'm Cypher, and I'm afraid I'm hopelessly outclassed. I found this place brousing RPGateway, which I in turn found through a comrade in the Star Army roleplay. I'm a relative newcomer to the online roleplaying community (Having started in the early 2000s in early Action & Reaction games), but I like to think of myself as an old salt in many communities. I like reading good books, watching movies and writing novels, and roleplaying of course, and I hope to have a lot of fun here.

So... Hi, Footsteps of Ghosts. Hopefully we'll have a lot of fun together.

Welcome, my friend. I, too, am a newcomer and hope we can roleplay in the near future.

Good to see another new face. I'm sure ImmortalSin will also be around shortly to tell you how delighted she is that there's yet another member in her age group. It seems you youngsters are taking over lately.

Anyway, there's a lot to check out around here, so make yourself at home and dive right in. We also have a chat room (the link to which can be located on the navigation bar at the top of the page) in case you want to meet and talk with some of our other members in real-time.

There is no need at all for you to feel intimidated - I can assure you! We're all very friendly here and we are also striving to improve our own skills as we go. Most people tend to find their own little niche reasonably soon so I hope you'll be no exception.

Yes, our mists are very swirly. ^^ They go "fwwishhhhh," and, "ooooooo," and, "whithhhhhhhll." Like dry ice on a dreary day in June, ha ha! (No, that probably wasn't supposed to make sense.) It likes to curl around your ankles when you frolic between the trees or dance around clusters of ferns. Very friendly, our fog is. ^^

Definitely, and no one should take Fate's efforts to get us known for granted. She went to great lengths and was even banned from one of the top communities out there to save the pros from the noobs.

Hey don't mock the mists! They rock. At least they are better than the snow I see everyday (although snow looks cool just not as cool as the mists). Also I am not to worried about the younger players jumping in. They are the next generation after all.
