Faire Thee Well's OOC

Huzzah and welcome, one and all, to our Faire Thee Well OOC! Since we have already created our character sheets back in the interest check thread, this thread can be used for brainstorming and plotting.

Therefore, before we officially begin our delightful little story, I would like to briefly discuss two things:

1. How/when would you like to enter the story?
2. How often will you be able to post?

With eight of us involved, I would like to coordinate our arrivals into the scenario, instead of leaving it up to fate to sort it all out. I would also like to stagger them, so that everyone is not falling all over each other from the start.

As I see it, Richard and Ayleth should probably be two of the first characters to arrive on the scene, since both of them are of this world. Calico Jack could be next, since it is not clear if he is from here or another realm. Beyond these three characters, anything else is possible.

Now, once we sort this out, we should be able to simply push forward, letting the story take on a life of its own. However, I would like everyone to keep the following two things in mind:

1. Please do not over-post yourself. Everyone should be given a fair shot. I would hate for someone to feel pushed out. Not everyone can post every single day. I myself am good for a post or two a day, but, at the moment, I'm wrapped up in several rp's, so, if I miss a day, please don't kill me!
2. Let the story unfold in a natural and sensible way. Each of us may be looking for something different. I may want action and adventure, while someone else will want a bit of romance. If we play this well, we'll have the chance to rp a little bit of everything.

Oh, and, bottom line, let's have fun with this! I don't want anyone - not a single one of you - to stress or worry in any way, shape or form. Let's keep it light and lively, with perhaps just a dash of danger for good measure.

I can't wait to start. I'm feeling that all-too-familiar feeling of dropping into a completely new setting with completely new feeling; that little tingle that you get on your arms. Like goosebumps, but good; y'know?

I have good feelings about this.

1. How/when would you like to enter the story?

I figure those who are actually a part of the Ren Faire would post before me, to set up the description of the Faire and how things run, etc. Then my character would show up shortly after.

2. How often will you be able to post?

I think I can post 1 to 2 times a week, more or less depending on the speed of everyone else. I don't want to be the slow poke

After the period-correct people (and Jack) post, and probably after Elisa as well.

2. How often will you be able to post?
As often as possible, generally once-twice a day, depending on the activity of the thread and other posters.

I'm still thinking on the how and as for the when - anything is okay. Most likely after the Ren Faire people so... one of the last to arrive? Or she could be one of the first. I'm fairly undecided.

I should be able to post at least once every three days, possibly more frequently. It just depends on how busy I am.

Fairly often. Mind you, I am a college student I'm also a lazy procrastinator, so probably at least twice a week if not more.

It seems like twice a week is the happy medium between those of us who have posted

He should get heave-ho'd out of the pub. No, literally, a group of people should pick him up and hurl him through a door or a second story window or something. Just a suggestion, though, don't do it if you don't want to ^^

I'll enter the story first or second, whichever works best from a character stand point!

I could post as often as three times a day, but a good twice a week sounds fine by me!

Twice a week sounds perfect to me. I will set up the IC this weekend, kicking things off with Richard. Ayleth and Jack can follow, then Elisa, Edgar, Ophelia, Inoruck, and last, but certainly not least, our good Queen Cecelia!

Oki-dokey, I posted! My apologies if it become the slightest bit dull towards the end, I was running out of ideas. Well, actually, I had an idea over load then couldn't figure out how to make it interesting in a first post -w-

The language she speaks in the beginning is romani and is from wikipedia, so it is undoubtedly not right, but I figured it was better than making it up

Also I had to make up how she knows English, that way we don't have any communication issues.

The tunnel was inspired from the movie Coraline, and I hope that it is OK. I wasn't sure how else to get her to the Faire.

I did enjoy it. Actually, I've enjoyed all of the posts so far.

Oh, and, try not to worry too much about what's right or wrong. This is a fantasy rp, so, anything is possible!

I just wanted to cover my bases, in case someone fluent in the language comes on and says "WTF". Lol.

So when should I be showing up?
