In the heat of the west Sahara, Egypt is on the brink of a new age. The pharaoh that has been ruling, a merciless evil person, is soon to be replaced by his son. The slaves who work in the blistering heat of Egypt are hoping that he will be better than their current king, hoping that they will be treated better. But it is only them who don't know the truth. The heir to the throne is an arrogant, big-headed fool who cares about nobody but himself. If it weren't for the fact that he was an only child, he would have passed the inheritance onto one of his siblings, but he has been forced to take the crown. This role is reserved!.

His soon-to-be bride seems to think the same way, but she is a conserved and quiet creature, choosing to only share her views with certain people, the prince not being one of them. She believes the prince to be a curse, and the fact that she must marry him once he comes into power is her worst nightmare. Being with him for only several minutes in one day can drive her insane, and she knows that when they are married her freedom will be cut to nearly nothing. She dreads the day. This role is currently reserved!

The vizier of the prince is concerned about the country's welfare. The current pharaoh and the prince are not interested with the interaction with other countries. They do not want to share the countries secrets and they don't want to trade. The vizier is afraid that if alliances are not soon made, Egypt will fall to another country's power, and the prince will not hear any of his suggestions as he believes that if they simply stay away from other countries, they will also stay away from Egypt. This role is currently reserved!

The slave of the royal vizier is an ambitious, evil girl who is infatuated with him. She is the one who suggests the assassination of the prince, for he has no heir and the vizier would fill the spot until he decided to find another suitable candidate for the job. The slave is tired of being a slave, and she wants to be part of the nobility, and her idea of doing so is helping the vizier kill the prince so that she may take the place as queen. This role is currently reserved!

Here is a great page for information on the lifestyle, clothing, politics and just about every other facet of Ancient Egyptian life. I don't know how true-to-life you intended for the roleplay to be, but I figured having something to go by would be helpful. I personally know very little about Ancient Egypt, so I wanted to find some references on clothing, mannerisms, etc.

Hopefully it will help everyone else, as well.

Be forewarned, there is probably a bit of nudity on the site. As you may or may not know, the Ancient Egyptians weren't particularly modest about their bodies until later on. For the sake of simplicity, I'm assuming that "later on" is when the roleplay takes place. Let me know if that's not accurate, Lt.

Also, I have been searching for a "real life" picture for my character. I usually use drawn or animated pictures, but, because of the nature of this role-play, I am trying to find one that doesn't look too modern as well as one that is a real life still. That is what is taking me so long with the sheet.

You can give me a typed description, if you'd like. Or unless you're being picky, you can feel free to use a drawing or an animation, either is fine with me.

Personality: Akhom wants nothing to do with the throne or his father's kingdom. He is arrogant and self-centered and would rather spend his days riding his horse across the lands than ruling a country. The boy hasn't the slightest interest in politics and could care less about his father's rulings or the people under him. But, the prince's father is quickly deteriorating and the days are fast approaching when it will be young Akhom's time to rule as pharaoh. Akhom is foolish and, if nothing changes, has little hope of being a good leader for Egypt's people.

I've nearly finished my first post for this. I need to collaborate a bit with Attie to bring her character into the post, but I should have it up by this afternoon or evening.
