Visiting Misery

Tomorrow, I'm taking a couple of flights to get to Misery again. I'll actually be gone several times after that, too.

Here's what it looks like:

I'm visiting him:
March 11th - March 22nd.

We're going to Oregon:
April 1st to April 6th

He's visiting me:
July 2nd ((The Last Airbender comes to theatres!!!)) to July 6th

I know he doesn't come to FoG much any more, but I just thought everyone else should know about my absence. ^^_^^

No. Sadly, we were busy with things other than pictures. However, there should be photos a-plenty after the April trip.

What part of Oregon are you guys going to, Kathryn?

Melancholy, I don't know... I forgot what the place is called. All I know is that it's where Misery grew up. I'm going to meet him mom, his dog, and his best friend while I'm there. It's also probably near the ocean because I know we're going to see that, too. =3

Sunwolf, I don't do the grammar thing any more. Every time I do, a specific member feels the need to do her/his best to make me feel bad about my trying to help people. It's just not worth it any more. I come here to have fun, not to have her/him "put me in my place" as that person has specifically told me they're doing.

No, I'm not granting any names. Just thought I should explain why I'm not going to bother trying to help people with that any more.

Ah. The Oregon coast is lovely in most places that I've been to, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. You should find out the name and let me know, I'm curious if I've ever been there before. Haha

Well, I've already told Misery that we need to take a lot of pictures. I'll ask him where it is when he gets home from work.

I completely agree, but there's really nothing to be done about it.

I went to an aquarium when I was with Misery! I forgot to mention that. Moon Jellies are sooo pretty, and I got to touch a sting ray! ^^_^^

Did you know there is a type of jelly fish that is essentially the only immortal creature on the planet? It never dies because it reverts back to its young stage, and then back to old, in cycles. Sorry...you spoke of jelly fish and it reminded me of that

Misery's on his plane back to Utah, and I'm waiting for my plane to arrive and whisk me to Denver where I'll take a connecting flight to Iowa. I had a lot of fun, but it rained so much that I was afraid to take my camera from its case. =\

You can get things to protect cameras from rain and such though, can't you? Like small slip cover things... I think I've seen them before. Could be wrong.

Melancholy, I'm sure there are things like that somewhere in the world, but I've never seen them, and I'm reluctant to buy one unless I'm absolutely sure it'll fit my camera. I don't buy clothing online for similar reasons.
