Truthfully, Kathryn, I didn't celebrate it in any way, shape, or form. I haven't celebrated a single birthday in numerous years and don't view them as anything other than just another day in life. No milestone, no cause for celebration or anything. ~shrugs nonchalantly~ :p

It's good to celebrate as much as you can in life and remember that things are special because we make them that way, and that is as good a reason to celebrate as anything!

Well, everyone feels their own ways about holidays.

Personally, I like birthdays because it feels like there's at least one day that's dedicated to myself, even if I don't act any differently on it. When people wish me a happy birthday, it lets me know that they're thinking about me. It lets me know they care.

Even if you don't celebrate your own birthday, I hope you're glad to see that there are people who care about you, Jani. :: hugs ::
