FFX: Resurrection {Closed OOC}

I'm still in. My Guard unit is on it's AT (Annual Training) mission until the 20th but I get a few hours each day to myself. I'm ready when you all are.

Well, I am quite psyched for this thing to roll again. So...

Finally done, could not please myself with that damn thing. But I just wanted to get it done. It's so short! XD But it's there. Have fun. XD

*raises hand and waves it frantically* Um...question! Question! Since Narisa is a White Mage, I'm having trouble figuring out she's supposed to single-handedly defeat a vicious priest-monster when she's never fought anything in her life. Mages don't exactly have much attack power, and unless the monster has Zombie status, all her magic would do is heal it...

I had a white mage in my last one, and I allowed another player to protect her, which I felt would most likely be Belnor or Roe in this case, since Belnor is almost a guardian to you now, and Roe is just the backup. The best you can do, if you like, is to defend, or take the damage and heal yourself.

Hmmm...okay! That sounds good. Yeah, if another character had to back her up, I figured Belnor would be the most likely candidate. I'll try to get my muse in gear and whip up a post tonight.

Silvan, is Narisa just naive, or was there miscommunication in the answering of her question? She sighed in relief, when I said they will be freed of the constraints of life; meaning they'll die when time is unfrozen.

Yeah, and I wouldn't have had Narisa drain herself of magic. You all are too accident-prone! I thought Belnor was bad enough with all of his booboos, but at this rate, poor Narisa is going to be a basket case keeping you all alive

Boss Battle System:

Okay everyone the boss battle system has an order to it. Normal battles, it's post at your free rate. But the boss battles I'm going to have you go by your given number. HERE are your numbers:

1: Roe
2: Narisa
3: Josef
4: Sivan
5: Luke
6: Belnor

I will not attack (as the boss) the first time, our team will have the Preemptive Strike. So on your turn, do one move. Now this does not mean our posts are going to be skimpy - not at all. In your posts, you can still continue to describe your character's emotional reaction, the setting around him, his thoughts on the situation, being intimidated or not, and of course put forth lots of effort into describing your attacks. This first fight scene is going to take us a little while, my plan is TWO or THREE rounds of our team attacks. Remember, if you are able to cast something or use something on another member, you may if you see it fit. Check the roster for your items, as I will have (by the end of tonight) redone them so that you each have the appropriate number of items and skill points.

Narisa will be the one who gains Faluxin, the first Aeon of our story. I will dictate to you that you can use it in the upcoming battle. After that, when you are in battle, you can look out for a small statement under the battle post for you that says that for so many turns, you are allowed to call forth the Aeon in your grasp.
