Demon Days: Interest check?

In the year of 3040, when humanity had expanded throughout the Milky Way and onward to the Andromeda galaxy. There, we realized that things are not all of what they seem.

Unlike in our own galaxy, the laws of time and physics seem to be... off. The planets are beautiful and the alien life subtle and visually enticing. But no other source of extremely intelligent life has been found. And as well, as people had begun to notice only a year prior; once you enter Andromeda, you do not leave very easily. There are so many time and space ''rips'', that getting home is a distant daydream to most humans.

In the new-year of 3040, a massive light blinded many no matter where they were. If there was some window to see the sky through, or some home on the surface of a local planet, then you noticed it. This light was the center of the galaxy imploding. But all who lived in Andromeda, one way or another, simply fainted at the sight.

When the few survivors woke, billions had died. But the world was not ended; the universe not destroyed. Andromeda was still in one piece, only save for the new changes. The empty space was now filled with plumes of thick dust and mists of crystallized ice. Brilliant colors shone through these clouds and spacial formations; filling the galaxy with gorgeous color. But the center of Andromeda is ruled by a black orb now, one that seems almost like a large black planet larger than any ever before seen; and shrouded by cosmic storms.

Welcome to Andromeda 3040.

----------------Plotline---------------

Survivors unite after an unexplainable phenomena that wipes out billions of explorers and migrants that have come to Andromeda. There is no way home now, and the only path seeming logical is the one towards the new planet at the center of Andromeda. As these survivors get closer, they realized that they are not ''alone'' any longer. Everything that they have ever known is about to change, in a game of imagination of survival.

Any interest?

I could certainly find myself interested very quickly, especially if whatever it is that the survivors discover can be played. It sounds like a very interesting concept with a lot of potential to me!

What the survivors discover might and might not be playable by others; that's something I'm still thinking on because of how my more descriptive plot is going to go.

Eh, I'm going to go on and throw this into an OOC and hope more people flock to it lol. I'll also be able to go on and add character info and stuff...

Question: Could I create a race from one of the planets or would I need to be human?

There is an OOC up you can look at, and if you PM me your race idea, then I'll see about approving it or not. I will not allow but perhaps one or two alien lifeforms because of the lack of intelligent life in Andromeda.
