Graduation and Stuff

I'll be graduating from college this upcoming Saturday. As such, don't be surprised if my presence here becomes scarce for a bit. Finals and packing are taking up a significant amount of time for this week. My parents will be in town from Friday to Monday, during which time I will be packing up my PC and terminating my cable/internet service. Tuesday and Wednesday me and a bunch of my fraternal brothers and alumni will be going on a float trip where much fun and alcohol will be had. Thursday (and possibly Friday) will be spent driving back up to Ohio where I'll proceed to unpack and the like.

I do get internet on my phone which will allow me to browse the forums, but I will not be using it on the float trip (water+phone= ) or while driving. So for the next two weeks, my presence will mainly be in the form of lurking or posts that are no more than a few sentences long.

For all the RPs that I am involved with: please bear with me, I'll get back into the swing of things as soon as I am able to.

Have fun with all the craziness and stuff involved, and don't worry, we'll all be waiting for ya. If things go according to plan, I'll be getting a post up in Extraction tonight or tomorrow morning. But, don't feel like you gotta post before you get all wrapped up. We'll be here when you get back!

Oh come ON!

As an update, I've packed up my computer and have terminated my internet/cable services. I am currently posting from campus and will have no other way to do so (aside from the painstakingly long amount of time it takes to do so from my cellphone) until I finish my trip to Ohio, which will be Friday or so.

Until then, the most I'll be likely to do is read and try to keep current with the RPs I'm involved with. So until then, I wish you all a good week and will be looking forward to my return.

Back in Ohio and am in the process of unpacking. The computer was the first thing set up (of course). I'll need a day or two to finish getting settled in (and to give me time to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit) before I'll be active once more.

The float trip was a lot of fun! Several large rafts + alcohol + rope swings = win.

The 16 hour drive, on the other hand, was not so fun. An audiobook managed to distract me from the full mind-numbingness that is such a roadtrip, but the rain made it even worse. Fortunately I made it through and am glad to be relaxing at home.
