Hello.

Hello,
As you all have guessed, I am a new member to FOG. While browsing the internet at a time when I should be asleep, I stumbled across this site. Why I am up at 6 o'clock in the morning, I could not even begin to tell you; however, one big reason is my lack of art.
I live to create art, in all its forms. My favorite form of expression is undoubtedly writing. I run into a problem, though. The problem is this, more and more RP sites are dying off. I would assume the opposite due to the spreading of the internet; however, with other circumstances, I am not surprised. This does not make my lack of writing any easier.
I am currently a part of another RP site. The site I speak of is very small, about ten members. All these members only post about once a day, and their posts are quite lacking in essence. I am looking for more. From my research, I do believe that the members of FOG will be able to quench my need for writing.

You're very straightforward. Nice! Lolz. I hope you enjoy it here and find that it helps you along. I'm basically new myself, lolz. And that role-play site is pretty small. This one I think is a bit larger. And from what I was looking into, people are active and the site won't close down anytime soon. lolz I hope not... Welcome though!!!

Welcome to FOG! Please allow me to reassure you that FOG isn't going anywhere anytime soon; we all love this site far too much to just let it die. We may still be a fairly small role-playing community, but that means that we get to know each other better. Plus, everyone here is dedicated to improving their writing and role-playing skills, so I guess we fit the cliche of quality over quantity

Welcome, Aya! I am quite sure that you will be satisfied with the community here at the FOG. I have only been around for about two months myself, but everyone is friendly and very dedicated to their writing. Do feel free to join in the chat! There is usually at least a few individuals on at any given time, and it's a great way to converse with your fellow writers in real-time!

All right, I had to add this, but I was checking profiles (I do that when I'm bored), and I noticed both that you are living in Arizona, and that you are studying Psychology. Those are two things that we have in common!

It is very hot and dry here. Every time I go somewhere with moisture, my hair grows like six inches. I do like it here, but I miss the forests.

"apart" means separated, not conjoined.
You are "a part" of another RP site.
Unless you were saying that you separated from them to join us, which would be just as cool. ^^
Don't mind me, though. I'm the one everybody rolls their eyes at in real life for muttering "different FROM" every time they say "different than."

Welcome fellow new member! Well, I've been here for two months now, but since many active members have been here from the beginning I'm still considering myself new. Hmm...technically I'll always be new in that aspect.
Anyway, haha, here it's earlyish, that's why some things might not make sense. Or at least I woke up recently.
Ah well, I hope you come to enjoy this place and as Silvan said about asking questions. Just do it! (Okay, that was an awkward sentence by grammar followed by an awkward sentence by meaning...) I hope you have the greastest time with us!

Welcome to FOG! I can assure you that most of what you find here is not lacking. FOG is really quite a great community of very talented people. And from what I've seen of your artwork, I am sure you will fit right in!

I think many of us can relate to staying awake until the early hours of the morning for little reason. I know I can. You can always check the chat room and see if anyone is hanging around. We have some late-nighters online sometimes.
