So. Hi!
Im here, because I'm usually pretty bored, but I believe it wasn't all the best idea, since usually im not on the computer much, other than this week- I have absolutely nothing to do. SO! Here I am. Here to make friends and roleplay of course.

Job: Kind of nothing, im in a small jazz band as a pianist and we play at small places for tips, for fun I suppose. HS graduate, going to college for studies in music, I will most likely become a teacher for piano which i've been playing since I was about 6 or 7.

Things I do often: I go kayaking a lot, along with sailing, i love water sports. Im fantastic at Vollyball. Next week im spending a week at a camp, where I'll counsel to be friends and do fun stuff with kids with mental and physical disabilities. Then right after im off to the middle of no where with my grandfather. So. yeah

I usually do roleplays that extend to any genre really, Ive spent more than 5 years roleplaying and Im always willing to try new things . I HATE repetitive boring roleplays, as im sure everyone does. What else?

Anyways! Welcome to FOG! We have RPs starting all the time spanning all sorts of genres, and I can say from my own experiences here that they are anything but boring. I think it's really cool that you're a musician. I never stuck with an instrument long enough to get good at it, so I have a lot of respect for people who invest that much time into their art. Yet another musician joins our mists. Although, I think yours is harder to play than mine, being drums and all. I mean, how hard can hitting stuff be? I just like to hit stuff, and that's why I chose it. ^^

I tried canoeing a few times, only to find out that it wasn't me that sucked at it, it was my partners. As they repeatedly capsized the boat, and made me do most of the hard work. Every time I got back from those trips, I ended up eating through a straw since I could no longer feel my arms.

Anyways, those are my words of welcome, this is Quakernuts, dashing off!

I'm new around here too. But it's wonderful and everyone is really cool.

Piano? I play a little bit. And I didn't know there were so many musicians around, but I play several instruments. I'm a music junkie.

I love to go canoing and boating and swimming, so there's something we might have in common.

Opera is just as equally or if not harder. I have a passion for opera actually (Dont judge!) and I love it, if done correctly, It is beautiful.

Have you had voice training?

Yes actually. Tenor. But I've never sung Opera, just a few things in school and I sang "I feel good" once in our band. I used to sing at church often, but lately I haven't gone.
I think in opera, to get a good vibrato and learning the languages or how it is sang, is probably the hardest part of it all. Of course, after you mastered good tone quality.
Or maybe just all of it. XD

I am surprised at the things you do, really. Water sports to volleyball, to music and role playing... I mean, you sure live a diverse lifestyle. It must be fun! I can only do so much at a time without screwing up my interest in certain things.

Also, I saw Carmen a few months back. Absolutely beautiful. I'm a show nerd myself. And while I've never had voice lessons, I've been involved in the musical theatre for quite a few years now.

I see that you live in Florida! I have a good friend who used to live there. (Leu-Mas Drof on this site). I guess that explains all the water sports. Must be fun!
