Paranoid - Delusions Aren't Illusions

Wake up. Turn left, look behind you. Damnit, it keeps moving. Dancing at the edge of your vision, laughing at you with a sickening impersonation of laughter. It sounds chitinous, but you can't be sure. It moves so damn well. And you only notice it right before you fall asleep, or before you wake up. When your mind is awake, and processing the data from the eyes and ears, this thing gets filtered out. You close your eyes, and yes, once again, the images flare up. Skulls, screaming and drowning in their own flesh. Bloated bodies of young children clawing at their mother's pale skin, their only source of food. They flickered, faded in turn only to reveal horrors much worse beneath. Walk to the bathroom, wash your face, forget about the hallucinations.

What if... What if they ARE right? Someone IS watching you. All the time. Don't look under the chair, keep your eyes on the monitor. As long as you don't see it, it won't kill you.

-----This RP is freeform, with a loose plot surrounding a group of "mentally ill" people in a modern medical facility. Whether their delusions are correct or not is up to how you play.-----

There is NO character sheet, there are NO rules, except... Start normal, end stark-raving. If this garners interest, I'll make an OOC specifying what each "delusion" carries with it, where the medical facility is, and a few more details.

-----The story comes from the interactions of the "ill". Treat this like real life, at least, until we know if the things that are scurrying under your computer chair right now are real or not. This world is what your mind makes it. Come, delve with me and take a trip to the center of psychosis. Let's see what skeletons your closets hold. Dance the Danse Macabre, and never ever look behind you.-----

Once in a while, I'll include a "Mass Delusion", a kind of hallucination(orisit?) that everyone in the RP experiences. These can range from flashes of movies, to entire pages of nightmare-styled RPing. I'll keep you on your toes, so long as you're enjoying insanity.
