Subject: A living hell...
Time: Day 1 - Night

A living hell... never thought that day would become a reality. While people have different notions of A Living Hell, this time around, everyone has about the same thoughts of it... everyone of us remaining that is.

My name is [insert name here], a citizen of North Fairview City, I am-- used to be... a college student who took up electrical engineering and worked part-time at a call center. I was assigned to the graveyard shift so I was mostly awake when it all happened. What am I talking about? That's easy and is a known fact city-wide the instant it began... when all hell broke loose.

Still lost? Well, I'm talking about them walking the earth... dead people you know, like the ones you see in the movies... those mindless zombies. Hard to believe? Yeah... I know... tell me about it. ^.^

Nobody actually knows how, at least that's what I, one of the remaining walking lumps of meat still alive would like to believe. Surely, some people would speculate that the cause of this was a failed government experiment, others would definitely believe it's the curse of God. Personally, I don't care... I just want to get out of this city alive!

It's night while I'm writing this entry, I am alone and holed up in the house of someone I don't know. Why? I don't know myself. Normally, one wouldn't enter somebody's home without permission, but with things happening as it is, this is the right thing to do. Why do I say so? Probably because I'm trying to stay alive. >.<

Twenty-four years of my life and I only had 67 journal entries, most of them are just notes I kept. This is the 68th and probably the first real journal entry I ever wrote. Why start now? I don't know too, probably because this is all that I have with me... all that I have left, and any day from here on out could be my last day alive. Aside from that, this slightly nostalgic feeling of writing about myself is helping me stay sane. v.v

Well, I'm going to get some rest... I need to keep my wits with me, and a lot of energy if I wish to survive tomorrow. Hopefully, I can get to write a second entry... See yah around!

What's that block of text above?
Ohh that, it's my would-be character's journal entry. I thought/decided that it would be a good prologue. Hope it did the trick to gather interest. hehe! Hopefully, I get enough interest/players to actually push through with this.

How many players do you need?
A couple, probably four or five.

Can we expect something new here?
I don't know, but I'll give it my best. I do have plans of implementing a regular "Decision Point" in the RP where players get to choose from a couple of actions/steps to take/do in certain scenarios. Of course, the actions or options as I would be calling them would be provided by me. Yep, you guessed it, majority wins. Players will have more control of the RP than they would like to think.

Decision Point? Please expound on that matter.

Green - Safe
Blue - Relatively Safe
Yellow - Risky
Orange - Dangerous
Red - Extremely Dangerous

Each Action will have a different outcome, success or failure will be determined via Coin toss or Dice roll, (still working on that) Now all the players need to do is to use the OOC to vote for what action to take. Majority wins.

Once the group comes to an agreement on what to do, the Decision Point option part will be edited like this:

Options:
Sit around and wait for zombies to come
Look for anything useless
Raid the Seven Eleven nearby - Selected
Search the nearby corpses for a four leaf clover

Followed by the outcome here:
The group decided to raid the convenience store for a pack of skittles but the zombie resistance was far too great for their makeshift plant weaponry. Two members died a heroic death trying to get the group a pack of skittles in vain.

FAILURE!

Anyway, I think five people including me would be enough to start this roleplay, or should we wait for two more to show interest and commit?

It's up to you. Bigger role-plays are a bit harder to manage, but a zombie role-play might do better with a larger group. *shrugs*

I appreciate the thought, and I couldn't agree more on the fact that zombie roleplays are indeed better off with lots of players.

But as you pointed out, it's hard to manage big roleplays and this is my first multi-player rp.

Six wouldn't hurt so long as they're active. On a different RP site, I'm in one - just one - roleplay, and it was my first multi-person since Neopets. I didn't go in with the brightest of opinions on how it was going to turn out, and I've been sloooowly proven right.
