What's in your room?

The extra Scott Pilgrim graphic novels that I mistakingly preordered on Amazon. Now I've got doubles. >.<

What is in your room that you're proud of owning yet rarely use?

I'm proud of my katana in my room back home. It's only for show, though, since I have no way of using it unless I can find an instructor who specializes in fighting with metal swords. I only have training in kendo with the bamboo swords.

What's in your room that you got on a vacation or roadtrip?

This fossil I found on the shore of Newfoundland.

What is the creepiest thing in your room.

I neither have nor allow anything creepy in my room, so I'll have to go with the cobwebs under my bed. xD


What in your room contains a comma?

My notebooks for class - of course I need commas when I'm writing in them ^_^

What in your room is made of wood?

A bookshelf that contains many things including DVD collections of TV seasons. Yeah I like watching favorite shows over and over again. Scrubs is awesome!

What's in your room that promotes something? (Like a band poster or a movie poster and other things of that nature.)

My Metallica flag, Drag me to Hell movie poster, [Rec.] movie poster and Sweeney Todd shop window poster.

What's the oldest thing in your room?

I am! Other than that I still have my N64 and it still works. I also have some library books in here that might be older than I am but I didn't look at the copyright date so I can't be sure.

Whats in your room that is from another country?

Ha, I still have a Nintendo 64 as well! And a SNES!

Uhm, the porcelain pots and the wind chimes are from Japan, I have a tea pot from Saudi Arabia, a handbag from Russia, a statue of a boy and a camel (or something similar) from some country I don't remember, a necklace from I guess India or Singapore, a cook book, swimming pants, a bracelet and several sarongs from Indonesia, a statue of Ganesha from India and that's about it I guess?

What in your room have you got the most of?

Comic books and cartoons. >.> My entire closet has more comics then clothes and I also have comics and DVDs under my bed, by my TV, on my desk, next to my bed, and have I mentioned in the closet? Yeah, comics and cartoons are my vice whether it be Japanese, American, old-fashioned, modern, etc.

What in your room is used as a place for snacks and candies?

My desk. Sometimes snacks and drinks get left on it.

What is in your room that is recycled or reused (like white elephant gift)?

He, my television? Not really recycled, but it used to be my bro's friend's mom's (still following?) tv, then it became my bro's friend's tv, then it became my mom's tv and now it's my tv. And my other tv too, since it was my father's tv before I got it.

What's in your room that's the most difficult to clean?

For my room at home, the top of my bookshelves are a pain to dust because I keep my fossil collection there, so I have to move all of them and replace them every time I clean. For my dorm here, cleaning is pretty easy for now. But I have to keep a close eye on my floor in case I track in sand.

What's in your room that's disposable?

Pop bottles. I tend to only clean up about once or twice a week so stuff gets left for a little while. Stuff like pop bottles.

What's in your room that you want to get rid of?

The cane/stick thing that is more of stick than a cane but can be used as a stick and/or cane... thing. I need to get rid of that.

What in your room is your favorite stuffed animal/superhero/pokemon, etc. (if any, of course)

The dog called Flap. Because I got it from the BF when I turned 16. It was the very first birthday gift I ever got from him (aside from the ten euros I got when I turned 15, but he owed me those ten euros and I had to ask for them, so that doesn't count )

What in your room is broken?

My lava lamp. Put the thing together upside down and the metal of the seal for the lava conducted too much heat from the light bulb and actually caused the light bulb to explode and the seal to break.... now I have no idea what to do with it.

What in your room is something you should throw away but the minute you pick it up, nostalgia hits you and you can't?

Probably old photo's (of what I really want to get rid off...) and old diploma's, grade cards, assignments, you know, all of those papers from elemantary school.

What in your room was the most expensive?

My laptop without a doubt. Everything else here in my grad school dorm is pretty low-budget.

What's in your room that sits on your desk?

My globe, lamp, a miniature Eiffel tower and my computer screen.

What is the cheapest thing in your room?

Not counting things I have received as gifts, probably the plastic bags that I get from the grocery store and use in my trashcan

What's in your room that depicts and/or represents an animal?

There are two wooden carvings, one a shark and the other an eagle. I also have a sodalite lynx. Also tons of dragons, but wasn't sure if that counted.

What in your room is not being used for its original purpose? (i.e. sarong as a curtain, bookshelf as entertainment center, etc)

My closet. I have shelves in my closet meant for shoes and clothes but I laid down old calenders and cardboard boxes and turned the thing into a library. Now it's more books and DVDs than anything else.

What in your room is still in the box/case you bought it in?

Nothing.

What in your room is an heirloom?

Nothing really, not in this room anyway. The closest I can think of is a drinking horn, it was my grandfather's, now it's mine. Sadly, I have yet to use it...never really found the occasion for it.

What's in your room that you'd never part with?

Oh, lots of things, like the Bible my Dad got for me on my first birthday, my favorite pillow, a stuffed penguin that I've had since I was little, lots of sentimental stuff like that.

What's in your room that smells good?

A Davidoff Adventure Amazonia perfume. It smells nice.

What's in your room that can be used as a weapon?

Three different swords (they are cheap swords that aren't too sharp, but would work in a pinch), a letter opener shaped like a sword, a hunting knife in the side table and some pepper spray in the dresser.

Where is your favorite place to be in your room?

In my bed watching TV, reading, or working on my laptop. I get cold very easily, so that's how I stay warm most of the time.

What's in your room that is handmade (either by you or someone else)?

Does the picture I took from St. Basil's Cathedral count? Does the book I wrote count? If so, those two Otherwise nothing to my knowledge.
