Let me be the first to welcome you to the swirling mists of FOG, Joe. This place is great, the caliber of writers here insanely good, and the people friendly.
Psst, if they're being too friendly though, be careful because they're the ones that like to steal souls, the ones that like to rend souls or the ones who just like to nibble on them.

-darkness rises from a gaping chasm that opens in the floor of the thread. A dark figure begins to take form as the swirling masses of shadow fuse together. Terrible and tortured screams rise from the rift as the figure fully forms. A whispery sinister voice sounds as tendrils of darkenss reach out to consume the new arrival. -

Casual footsteps echoed through the room, as he approached. A fine pressed suit, and polished shoes his trademark. The body lay sprawled across the floor, settled in a pool of crimson, speckled with grey matter.
Men and women moved quickly to block the area off, as the figure glanced to his assistant. "What have you got?"
"One Joe Beanz. Decided to wander into the FOG, and found himself face to face with a glock. Looks like he didn't agree with a gun to the face, and the bullet didn't agree either."
The figure nodded quietly, as his assistant went back to work. Kneeling down beside the body, he looked the stranger over once, before rising and looking off towards the rising sun. "Well, it looks like Joe...got a little sloppy."
YYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
