Tamwyn Troubles...You!

I couldn't think up something as clever as Reffy's post, so I just went with that.

Anyway, hi, my name is Tamwyn. I'm a little bit immature in some instances and I try to curb that a lot recently. Specifically in anything OOC I tend to crack jokes that aren't necessarily that funny to most people. I get my sense of humor from my mom, which means just about anything, to me, is funny. This leads me to share such things with others that might be offended or annoyed at my constant yammering.

In other news, I'm a role-player in heart, if not in game. Hehe..phrase pun. See what I did there...? Eh, nevermind. Now, I love to role-play, and am currently involved in a few Roleplays on the AWR forums, though I would be happy to participate in others' here if the content is to my liking and personal interest. Presently, I'm in...1-3 RP's on the AWR forums and a Tournament competition that the forum holds every so often, though admittedly it -is- going slow, thanks to the end of school and the reign of Summer entertainment shifting from Computers to Pools...and waterparks...and camping...ect.

Now, I am also a writer, though a very junior one or at the lowest level. I have a ton of story ideas and have to frequently write them out in a scenario in Word or Wordpad or something. Most of these don't make it past the first 10-20 paragraphs, but they are fun to do all the same. I have a few good, complete stories in my repitoire, if anyone cares to read them (And hopefully critique or somesuch. I haven't really read how this all works). I'd like to share them, and earlier, I tried, only to have my efforts rebuffed by the "Too many characters in your [whatchamacallit]". It made me

Do you guys allow Mature-rated stories? I.e. Gears of War (Foul Language, Blood, Gore) stuff.

Either I'm a little late in greeting you, or everyone was on the ball yesterday, but whatever!

Don't worry about the humour thing! People laugh at me cause it's like "He's a retard! make him feel good! Hahahahaha!" But that's just me!

As for the mature rated stuff, I believe anything but cybering and anything close to that line is accepted, but people usually set their own standards when they start writing. I wouldn't worry too much about it, and the worst thing that can happen is a mod comes and tells you to lay off a bit (I think...?)

You're about a year late, so its fine, haha, I made this back in '09. Good to know Mature stuff is allowed; I thought it wasn't and that was the reason you guys cut ties with AWR.

Well, welcome back is in order I guess! And Quaker I also missed that it was last year first. But then I got suspicious when a lot of people I haven't seen had written! So I caught it in time. Thank goddess! Heh.

Oh and another thing from the rules, although I won't be as good as Kalon and quote. When it comes to Role-plays most things is okay, beside smut role-plays as far as I understood. Of course excessive gore and such might be too much. Of course everyone's opinion on excessive is probably different. Just wanted to add my two öre (hey, I live in Sweden, we don't have pennies (because that is the correct one...ne?)).

Yush, yush, I wouldn't engage in smutty roleplay and the bounds of my story take place in Gears of War, which is a pretty blood game (What with chainsaws used on "aliens" from under the earth. Other than that and foul language, theres nothing to worry about and its not like I overuse any of the bad stuff; it's just part of the universe.

I haven't been around long enough to have welcomed you the first time around, so I'll take my chance this time and say hi, welcome, again, to the swirling mists that is FOG.

I saw that your story was mentioned in the MF, I believe. I usually get around to reading most or all of the stories in the critiques, though I must say I haven't read yours yet. I haven't been around much in the past week, but I'm certainly going to read it now!
