We can make them die awfully, sure. Awefully awesome! xD
But we should definitely have them either die or otherwise depart the story. Trying to support dead characters is like trying to feed a zombie something other than your brains.
Zombies don't make good pets. xD

On an entirely unrelated note, anyone seen Dax lately?

We can have a time limit.
Or we don't have to kill them. We can just have them go off on a trip or a mission, or be imprisoned.
Or coerced into service of the darkness.

Re: Emoria: World-Building OOC
We already know what we want to happen to the character. Spectre and I had decided that Alys was going to kill off seven Sage Lords (actually, by a mercenary, but yea) and since Spectre's character is no longer functioning, it seemed prudent to make him one of the seven that get killed. Especially ironic, considering he came up with it...
But yea, I'm all for making people disappear. It just doesn't really work in this place.

Ladies! Gentlemen! Priests! Warriors! Lords of Light and of Shadow! Lend me your listening orifices! Massive works and world building I have done, striving to both illuminate and craft forth a world space far beyond what I have established! I am pleased to say that very soon, I shall unveil what I have thus far created for you all to see!
I look forward to seeing your thoughts and opinions! Until then, rest easy, and go forth to great posting!

Tynir reworks posted(although still in progress). Small revisions to come to what's posted(mostly coming up with titles). Sects will be up at a later date. Meyul also has a reworked sheet posted. Ayurent's sheet will be reworked at a later date. Feel free to ask any questions.
Enjoy, and thanks for reading!

Re: Emoria: World-Building OOC
Whenever you think it's ready for the info section, do me a favor and send me everything via PM, organized by location, history, culture, lore, and powers. Otherwise I will be lost as to what to put where. It's something we shouldn't worry about until you feel done though. Also, you had posted a new species, right? Should I put that up in the sentient species section?

Re: Emoria: World-Building OOC
I did post the Ordingaunt and Revised Sythen a little while ago, both of which I built in the info thread format. I'm not sure where I posted them off the top of my head, but I can send them to you when I get home from work.
Also found a good possible location for the Sirens, which i need to talk about later as well.

Re: Emoria: World-Building OOC
Ok, thats fine. I'm sorry that I'm asking more from you; it's just easier for me to "save" PM's and work on the information over time, rather than try and scramble through two OOCs and the info thread and try to not mess anything up

Re: Emoria: World-Building OOC
Orfardin
Origin
Rarities amongst their kind, Orfardin are spawned from the Shadow Veins much like their Lesser Kin, but spawned with a sinister intellect, and latent psionic abilities in their well developed minds. Every Orfardin has survived centuries as an Ordingaunt, growing wiser and larger the longer they have been alive. They caught the eye of their Lord, and have since risen to fill the roles of Generals of his great armies.
They are rare, one seemingly spawned once every thousand Ordingaunt, and the ones that survive to become true Orfardin are even fewer. None have yet faced them in combat, but their presence is impossible to miss when they draw near, the psionic push of their minds gnawing at all those within range.
Appearance

Monsterous creatures almost ten feet tall, Orfardin are terrifying to behold on the battle field, clad from head to toe in blackened, snarling armour that sucks the light from the air around it. Their strength is beyond super-human, a far cry from the weak creatures they once were in eons past. Their six pupil less eyes pulse with the same wicked yellow of their master, an unsettling sight when one is unfortunate enough to face one of the snarling monsters.
“Culture”
Orfardin lack a real society, but as a whole, they all act in a manner very similar to Morgarath; cold, ruthlessly cruel and deceptively arrogant. They each possess their own personality quirks, but rarely are these seen by anything outside of Morgarath’s upper circles.
Powers
The most fearsome amongst their powers is their Psionic presence, which allows them to speak into the minds of those they address, and to control the fearsome hordes of the Ordingaunt. A single Orfardin can control a seemingly limitless tide of their lesser kin, their mind broadcasting the Shadow Lord’s orders to his servants without hesitation. It also grants them weaker control over more frail minded creatures, so it is not uncommon to find packs of Worgs dancing along the fringes of the horde, hunting down those who escape annihilation at the hands of the Orfardin.
Aside from their minds, Orfardin are durable beyond conventional measures, and their disturbing absence of pain makes them even more fearsome. Their strength is rumoured to be greater than even the Tynir, a disturbing thought that many do not wish to test.
There's the Orfardin, Folks. What ya think? Scared yet?
Props to Buzz for the wicked inspiration picture. *brofist*

Re: Emoria: World-Building OOC
So it comes to this.
I've been talking with Fayt and Kathryn, and it's been decided that I may trim down Emoria's information. I am willing to slowly work on this task, but before I can do so, I have another task to do.
Everyone's IC and OOC information (CS's and posts) must be PMed to them before demolition. That itself is going to take much time. Then, I can start taking out info. Basically, my plan is, if someone still participating wants the information to stay, and is willing to take responsibility for it, then it stays. Everything else is being scrapped.
So here's the first question...who is still participating? I need you posting in here that you are still in. If you don't post, you are not in. Simple as that.

Awesome
Since both players in your thread are missing, are you of the mind that we should scrap that thread completely? If so, make sure you save what you want of it.

I don't think role-plays ever get deleted. I think they just get locked and moved. Let me double check with the staff to make sure.
