I posted btw, I didn't have too much to say, but I think its decent.

I like it, it's nice.

Now we just need the others to post and we can get going with this. Might send out a batch of PM's to see where we stand.

I wouldn't mind joining. If it dies, we could always revive it as a new thread.

It's nice to see people are still on board for this, but (yes, there's always a but) I'm afraid I'm just up to my neck at the moment. Even my current list of active RP's I manage to barely keep up with...trying to breathe back life into this is not something I can do at the moment. In fact, I was considering just closing this down and letting it bite the dust once and for all. I think the time for that has come.

Looking back at it, I made some faults as a first-time GM definitely. But I also blame a few people who joined for one or two posts and never showed up again, even though I expressly asked only for long-term interest. Still, I think the biggest falling was that I tried to make the scope of this way too big - a squad of about 8 people, with a real person behind each was unrealistic for this format (it can work in a MMO for example).

I definitely dig the idea of this though and I already have a plan of sorts of how I can implement it, although I'll need to change some things. I'm looking at real far ahead into the future though...still, if I actually do feel inspired enough to write I'll contact you guys.

In the mean time, all resources here are up for grabs. If you want to restart this, then by all means go ahead - it will be interesting to see how other people develop my idea

On a slightly more official note, as much as I regret it, I am officially closing this down. It was a good trip while it lasted and I certainly look forward to attempting the journey once more, some other day

For administrative sake, I think you're better off starting a new thread. Will be easier to edit stuff in the original posts and what not, you can keep you main post updated with all the recent stuff (like character sheets and all that).

Apart from that, you have my blessings, son. Go forth and spread the word of military sci-fi!
