Modern Fantasy Check

Looking for three to four other players for a modern Elemental Magic RP.

Simply put, people develop elemental Affinities in modern day and are persecuted for it. My character is a "rebel" of sorts. He refuses to submit to the government for testing/imprisonment and he seeks out others who have developed powers to help them escape Big Brother or whatever we would call the organization that imprisons the Changed people.

I was thinking that the players would be rebels, and you would create government officials and such as NPC's as needed.

And could I only get serious players? If you have another RP that you are "waiting to pick up" then please refrain from joining. If you have school or another obligation that will prevent your regular posting, let us know. I am all for life taking precedence, but I would rather never start the story than start with regular postings and then have it fizzle out after three posts.

I am not all that good with history/set up, so if anyone wants to join with me to develop a story, let me know. I have a habit of jumping right in.

I don't allow shinanigans. if you had told me, i would have made sure we fixed that for you. Go ahead and think of a character. Mine will be water, so you can pick something else or choose the same, it is up to you.

Literate is a friend of mine even if she has disappeared again for the last several months. I don't mind too much just wish it hadn't happened then. Alright.

By elements you mean wind water fire earth or the wider range including light and dark, ice, ect?

By elements i mean the basic four, but also wood, metal, and other natural aspects of the earth.
