Congrats on breaking boundaries! I haven't done any writing yet...

Well, I made it to 5,326 words for May.
Huzzah! At least it's a nice, respectable fraction of the goal, like 1/3.

Looking over the June challenge, I think I already did a lot of those! xD I've been doing that edit-type stuff this whole time, which is probably why it's been going so slow. I also added that other character before starting--which probably means it doesn't count--but it's similar in that I hadn't planned on it to start with.

Well then! Here's to a new 15,000 word goal for me! xD
Maybe I'll aim for 45,000 and see if the 1/3 pattern continues.

Incidentally, I've been done with the first 3 chapters since the first couple of days, because they were quite short. Maybe this is an opportunity to expand them, though I don't think I need or want to. I'll keep the possibility in mind, just in case. ^^

Didn't make the 15,000, but I just did a massive reshuffling of six of my chapters. I spent this month editing rather than writing anything fresh.

I was only about 1,770 words short of making 15,000 words... I was also a chapter short of the three chapter challenge. I would have needed a total of 18,000 words to get all of those points because I went way over on the first two chapters. I am rather disappointed in myself, because I totally could have done it with a tad bit more dedication. I was so short of the finish line....

Anyway, it was good practice July should be a good writing month for me. June will be difficult though. I am not very good at editing.

Aw, man, I'm awesome at editing, but not so good in the dedication department. We need to share talents or borrow one another's! xD

Oh yeah, if everyone adds up the points you've earned (honor system here), I will your totals in the first post.

@ Kalon: It would be nice if we could share those things here... Perhaps I will put some of my stuff up for editing. Not sure yet. As for giving you some dedication...

Is anyone making any progress with their editing? Or catching up on their word count? I have been too busy to even touch it, myself. Trying to get a house is taking up way too much time. Hopefully I will manage to do something this month though.

I still have birthday projects for family that need doing, and RPs to do something in, so I haven't added any more words to speak of. I DID, however, retype the whole thing. That was fun. A handy 25 points, too. ^^ Nothing really stood out to be added on to, so I'm well set to move on. I just need to recover from all this juggling and tackle all my projects without getting distracted.

Bah, haven't done anything beside that one week of writing. I've realized I have the wrong MC and half the plot doesn't excite me...so this month and the next one I'm going to rebuild my plot and find/create a new MC. Then I'll hopefully get back into writing, using Camp Nanowrimo as a crazy motivator. ^^

That always sucks Having the wrong characters or wrong plot has killed a lot of my stories. To be completely honest, this is the first story I've ever really been happy with. Good luck with getting back on track!

I haven't touched anything lately. I realized that I started to combine Kasolt and another story line I have, DoaL, and I've come to the determination that the two simply to not blend at all. However, I am simply at a stand still. I have no idea what to write on, or where to go from, or if the piece is going to be any good, or how I think it's awful or not right now, siiiiigh. I don't know. A whole lot of stressing that is preventing me from moving forward right now.

I have updated the top post with the July Challenge. I haven't done anything this month, so absolutely no points for me. I am just not good at editing. Maybe in August I will force myself to do it...

Anyway, send me you total points and I will update the list again. Hopefully everyone had a more productive month than I did!
