Yeah, so now you're here, let me apologise for the scam. I don't care two hoots about peoples' views on 9/11, this was just a base way to hook you in. Anyway, I'm not good at talking about myself, but whatevs.

Born and raised in France to British parents, so I speak both languages and have the benefit of not belonging to either nation, meaning I can criticise both at will. I'm 17, love music of all kinds from Autechre and Deadmau5 to John Cage and Claude Debussy going through American and, more importantly, Icelandic post-rock, electro ambient, metal, prog metal, math metal, a bit of trip hop, etc ... Just don't mention anything about rap or pop and we'll be fine.

I've been playing the drums for 8 years now and have the long hair to go with it. I love RPing, lets me get away from the real world and makes me feel I'm better than most other people I know as I can actually use the bloody language I've learnt and been taught since a kiddo.

I'm not altogether sane in the head, and I don't mean in the dull way of "Oh ho ho, aren't I a jolly fellow who loves a good laugh, ha ha ha !". I have mood swings, a lot, I may act as happy-go-lucky as can be and then do a full U-turn and fling hate, scorn and cynicism on all of you wretched dregs of humanity (favouring the former mood right now). As such, don't take anything I say too personally: I may either be maniac, hiding depression or simply not give a shit but not want to hurt your feelings. Besides, this is the Internet, why take ANYTHING people say seriously ? You're all either middle-aged men, middle-aged men acting as women, spotty teenagers like me, or FBI agents.

Aside from all that jazz (did I mention jazz before ? I like jazz too) I play a fair bit of video games (RPGs and the occasional FPS to let off some steam), and that about sums up my infinitesimally pitiful existence. Glad to meet you all !

I'd just like to know what this forum's policy is regarding swearing ? I'm rather liberal with it when I'm allowed, personal viewpoint and all that, but if that's a major no-no, fine by me, I can behave.

That's really neat that you were born in France but were raised by British parents. So do you have a British account or a French one (when speaking English)? Either one (or even a hybrid of the two) would be lovely. :]

As for your mood swings - at least you keep things interesting! That's a good point though about not taking things too seriously, especially online. People tend to talk more boldly online anyway, as it's much less personal, so lots of people will say things they normally would never say in real life.

Swearing? Totally allowed in all its forms. xD Haha.

I don't have a French accent, at all, when speaking French. When speaking English, I have slight Queen's English pronunciation, but no real accent to speak of, which does set me apart: people notice I have no accent whatsoever. That said, I can do a spiffing impression of a Frenchman speaking English. Can't do the opposite though, sadly.

And while variety is the spice of life, things do get out of hand at times. Naturally though, I wouldn't trade it for all the tea in China.
