My Little Awesome Pony

Now I know what you must be thinking. "My Little Pony? But... That's a lame little girl's show." While that used to be true, within the past six months has arisen a new My Little Pony; My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

I could go through the whole series, the plot of it all, but I'd rather you watch the episodes.

Now, before you just say "No, it's My Little Pony." Will it kill you to watch a couple episodes? I don't think it will. Nor will it murder your pride.

Now, I don't recommend watching them in this order. These are just episodes I'd recommend to get someone into the series. But if you start with the first episode, watch the parts in order. Otherwise it doesn't make much sense.

My friend suggested that I get into this a while ago. Despite my love of My Little Pony, I kind of gave her the 'are you serious?' raised eyebrow, mostly due to the show's artwork as I googled it.

The show is directed by Lauren Faust, who had a strong hand in shows like The Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and Dexter's Lab. She's also married to Craig McCraken who also worked on the aforementioned shows. They are about to have a baby blessed with the best animating abilities physically possible. (That last bit was just fun fact knowledge.)
