Star Wars - Jacen & Jaina Solo and Tenel Ka Djo

Here is a drawing I have been working on for the past week or so in my free time. I figured I'd share it here with you guys, since this was part of the reason I haven't been posting as much on a daily basis as usual.

This is a drawing of 2 of the 3 children (the 3rd, Anakin, was killed prior to this) Han and Leia Solo have (according to the Expanded Universe of Star Wars), their twins -- Jacen and Jaina, along with their longtime friend, Tenel Ka Djo. She later becomes the Hapan Queen Mother and has a daughter with Jacen, right before he becomes Darth Caedus. Kalon, that is awesome that you think I look like Tenel Ka. She is my favorite character!

Just watch out Fate, hopefully your closest friend won't chop off your arm with a lightsaber, like Tenel's did.

Haha let's hope not! (As much as I respect Tenel Ka for not choosing to have a cybernetic arm, I totally would have a robotic arm if mine was chopped off!)

I agree. I couldn't survive with only one arm. But Tenel gets a lot of respect from me for choosing to be a Jedi with one arm. Now her choice in baby daddy's not such a great one. Ha Ha!

Hey! He was a great character! Not compared to Anakin... but he certainly didn't disappoint (in a very loose sense).

I am sorry Silvone. But I never liked Jacen, from the whiny I don't want to fight, to the I am a crazy Sith Lord who knows best, but yet always gets my ass-whooped by my Uncle Luke. I kind of wish it was him who died instead of his brother Anakin. But then I think that Anakin would end up the Sith Lord and I realize it's probably good he did die.

He was whiny and annoying, but that is kind of why I liked him. It was a refreshing change from the standard hero; he had no idea what he was doing or what was "right," and that is why he ended up down the path he traveled. The writers had no idea at the close of NJO that he would end up as a sith (so they said), but it fit perfectly with the character they developed in that series. I just think he was realistic, is all. And a polar opposite from his brother (who was one of two of my favorite characters, and my second favorite character to be killed off )

I don't know. I just could never get into Jacen's character. I honestly liked him early in LOTF. But when he became the crazy, I am going to kill everyone, typical Sith by Sacrifice , he just went downhill from there.

One of the main flaws of all the post NJO books, IMO, is the lack of good character development.
