Promoting FOG

So, I'm sure as you all realized, the FOG message board is extremely new and is still very much in the process of growing and expanding. If you would like to help contribute to the growth of FOG in order to see it truly blossom, there are ways there you can help.

Spread the word! Mention it to your role-playing friends. Let them know about this place too, so that they may join in.

Advertise! Post a quick link with a summary of FOG (as seen on the main page at the top) on other message boards and websites to help get us more attention.

Soon, I will be making a flyer for FOG which anyone will be able to print out any post in your own town! Some great places to consider posting these flyers are libraries, schools, and coffee shops.

Lol umm, I don't really know any one else personally. I mean, I haven't role-played with too many other people on other message boards that I haven't already invited. If you know or can think of something though, feel free to send them an invite!

Just a little reminder -- onenitedrive and I are leaving soon and probably won't be around for a couple of days. While we're gone....it sure would be nice if someone got some more great people to join! Whoever does, wins extra brownie points with onenitedrive and myself!

I shall talk to NightAngelErik, she's also looking for new things. Anddddddd hmm, perhaps we can make a wiki site? I know we tried to do it for S*T, but I don't know exactly how those work> Butttt hey it's just another thing to look into.

Thanks, Hope. I actually was trying to make a Wiki site for EthereaLights too, and I had a lot of the information up and whatnot. Apparently, it wasn't good enough looking though, because Wikipedia deleted it. >.< I'm not really good with all their unique code.

Well, I don't know how many people will look or what have you. But I posted the site, with the describe on the index page, on wikianswers.com . I put it in my message board, and I'm about to type a "question"and then put it in the response as well.

Again, I don't know how many people will actually look or what not, but :: shrugs :: didn't think it could hurt anything. ^.^

Oooh! Thanks, Hope! Actually! I did that same type of thing with EL, back awhile ago (only with Yahoo Answers). I think it's actually a good idea. I even posted FOG on Craigslist lol. I think making a question and then talking about FOG on Wiki or Yahoo Answers is a great way to help promote it, really.

Well I'm trying, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to actually POST a question.

For WikiAnswers? I think you just type it in at the top, right?

Look, I just asked a question there now and answered it.

I know, but that's because it's somebody else is question. I want to add a question of my own.

Yeah, just type it in at the top of http://wiki.answers.com/. Do you see the green part at the top is Ask, and the blue part is Answer? If your question has already been asked before, for some reason you are unable to ask it yourself, so it just redirects you to the question that someone else asked. You'll have to phrase your question differently, so that it's not one that has been asked before. If you ask a question that's not been asked yet, then it will take you to a page that allows you to submit your question.
