What do you think? I was spending all morning reading Photoshop text tutorials to make our banner all that more professionally-done (hopefully).

The mist seems to be thicker in the second, probably thanks to it's brightness, and the new fonts definitely seem to make it more spooky. Loved it!

I'm assuming that's what happened. That image must be blocked for some reason. Try going to Tools>Adblock Plus Preferences and find i111.photobucket or something along those lines and remove it.

If it isn't that, then try Tools>Options>Content. Next to "Load Images Automatically" click the Exceptions button. Find in that list i111.photobucket.com and remove it.

I really enjoy this new banner. I noticed it as soon as I loaded FoG for the first time today. It looks creepier, and the static look makes it feel that much more related to the bigger FoG role play. Oh! I also like how the text looks like it's turning into the smoke. It's awesome.

My one complaint is that the text hardly looks like an FOG at all. I can't help thinking that if I didn't already know it said FOG I wouldn't realize what it is right away. Maybe if the prongs from the F stuck out a tiny bit more, and the O was a bit more closed? I don't know. You don't have to go with that. It's just an observation.

I didn't notice, but you're kind of right about the "O" in FOG. I suppose it probably would have been better if it were more closed. The effects kind of deteriorated the word.

Haha. I can still tell what it is, honestly. Where yes, it does look dissipated and indeed, 'FOGgy'... I think the effect suits the theme and site quite nicely. I'm not arguing with Kathryn or anything, i'm just saying that i like that it's that way.

I like 'FOO.'

Well, at least it does fit the theme, as it would mean redoing the entire thing if I wanted to fix it.

Well, I was able to fix it slightly, so hopefully it's a bit more legible.

That is better. Even the tiny change with the g worked great. Did you fix the F a bit, too, because it looks a bit more F-like. The O is better, too. Good job!
